    --------------------------------------------------------------------
This Milwaukee Tool 1" Impact Wrench seems to hit harder than a comparable 1" D-Handle Pneumatic Impact Wrench. After the nut is loose, the Milwaukee might remove the lug a touch slower, but the speed is pretty close. Being able to move around freely without an air hose is amazing. When working on large trucks, there is already enough in the way. Not being caught with a hose between tires or around a corner is an amazing feeling when coupled with the confidence that the battery-operated tool has the same performance as the air-powered tool.
Battery life on this large of a tool is amazing if you use the 12Ah HD battery. We completed a voltage test and found you could use this large impact wrench with a 6Ah or 8Ah battery, but you will lose a bit of power and significant runtime when doing so.
The price of this new large impact wrench is great when compared to high-end air impacts. Battery power is getting better and better all the time!

I’m a heavy mobile diesel mechanic the biggest pain is waiting for the air compressor to keep up with removing or installing… my air impact is my last air tool. I want this so bad.

I do the same thing. Air has always been a battle when trying to stay small enough to be mobile enough to get in tough places but still have room for parts and tools. Cold weather always has me fighting to keep air working. Tools like to slow down. With my battery tools I can simply put the batteries in the cab to warm up on the way. Enclosed compressors help in cold weather but it's not perfect and needing to wait for psi really sucks. Only way with air to replace a fast compressor is to have volume but then you loose free space for drums or tires etc

I could see this being very popular with dirt modified, late model and sprint car crews. If a shock, axle or wing breaks or tire goes flat there's usually very limited time to replace those parts and get back in the race. This will be a huge time saver.

Upgraded from an older 18v kit. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

The catch is in the KEY namely ONE-KEY. From being just a phenomenal Impact Wrench it turned it into the super smart and highly efficient BEAST by just turning ONE-KEY. Now one can control the torque and battery, performance, and whole 9 yards... I love it I think every FUEL must have ONE-KEY.

Nice tool. But in my experience with 1/ 2 in and 3/4 versions, the battery locking mechanism wears down quickly, and the battery starts wobbling in there, losing contact and cutting off power to the tool. Especially that super heavy 12ah battery. Good for occasional use or whenever air is not available.

Impact guns should not be used for torqueibg bolts. That is why you can not find it. If you are using this, run it on high for about 10 seconds' worth of impacting.
