The tool is design with the battery fitting loose so the vibration of the tool operating won’t ruin the area of where the battery is attached. (That Includes terminal and wiring also)
The battery wobble is intended. It’s actually to save the battery from all the impacts the wrench makes. It’s called a battery isolater which is what that black bracket is separating the battery from the tool. Allows it to reduce shock and increase your battery life while using that tool specifically.
Thanks for posting this video I think I'm going to get one as soon as I can. I agree about the ring on the anvil being a problem but the battery is supposed to wobble like that because there's an isolator built on the gun
Great video bro! I have the 1/2 milwaukee high torque its a beast I couldn't imagine how powerful this thing is. The battery wobble is normal, designed to protect the battery 🔋 from vibration.
I have a 3/4 Milwaukee impact and it works like a champ compared to the 1inch. I would choose the 3/4 any day, it’s light weight same size as a 1/2 impact just way more torque. I use it on a daily for tires
Nice. The battery is designed to be lose so it last longer. Im waiting for the new one with a longer shaft but I got to see the pro and the cons on the length. Over the road it will pay for it self with one tire or two but I don't care im buying one of this impacts.
i think the small one will do fine, just make sure all lugnuts are torqued to 450_500 ft lbs, so it wont have trouble removing em, the bigger one will remove tighter lugnuts, but its a little heavier
Which one do you recommend buying to keep on the truck? I plan to use it for changing tires and shocks and stuff like that while on the road. Thanks again for the videos.
hello, i think for that purpose the small one should work just fine, its lighter, just make sure all lugnuts are torque to 450 to 550,(some tire guys over torque the lug nuts) if they're over torque you might not be able to remove them. if you get the 2868 it will remove them, hope i make sense

The High torque could do it for sure, but this is built more for it. Then agian the high torque costs less and has a better warranty, but if you are not giving the threads some antiseize or something and they're getting rusted up ect not sure if it will take it off. For sure the tool for it job but so much more money.
Your truck has an air tank. Put a coupler on it and you can use cheaper air. The $160 1 inch from Harbor Freight would do the trick. A good 1/2" gun will do shocks and be easier to handle. I used my own truck's air to do suspension work on it, including wheel removal.
When the battery overheats all the bars flash they redesigned the battery box because previous models were to solid and wobbled loose and the battery lost connection so the battery should be able to flop around it's almost like rubberized
I have a snap on 1/2 brushless impact and it is so hard for it to take em all off. Yeah it's a half inch but with two batteries you could probably get on and off.
the battery is rubber mounted for the shock. suppose to be like that. maybe try a new socket or extension and see if the friction ting holds. might be wear on the old socket
Nice video bro. Ima heavy equipment diesel mechanic . I have always used the 1/2 impact 1400lbs and it takes the truck lugs nuts off like nothing . It seems like this one is struggling a bit. You think the lug nuts are over torqued ? Have you used this gun for something else? I’m trying to see before I buy cause it is pricey lol thanks in advance
thank you , it was new when we made this video, this one removed 142 lugnuts the 2867 1 inch removerd like 42 lugnuts, check out the videoi did, some were a little over torqued
Hello, I use a 20 ton bottle jack, im going to put some links in the description in case you want to check thrm out, thanks for watching, amzn.to/3cvwQG0
Somewhere in Milwaukee headquarters: milwaukee engineers:yes,we will listen demands of mechanics and we will fabricate what ever they come up with, and we will fullfill every their desire,in meanwhile somewhere in japan in makita hq:makita engineers talking to makita ceo,hey boss milwaukee beating us we need to come up with something,we have nice ideas for a new tools,we spoke with daily mechanics and they gave us some good ideas, makita ceo:wtf i don't want to listen mechanics and their nosense,we will produce coffee machines, portable fridges, jackets and useless things and you will stick to my plan or you will get fired, makita engineers laughing who gives a fuck we will do like boss says produce shit which is useless.regards from:croatia.
Do you prefer the d-handle or the pistol grip for every day truck work? I think the pistol grip seems more useful in other areas and more comfortable to use, but you've used them both.
They say you can remove 250 on 1 battery. It’s 2000 pounds of torque. I wonder how it compares to the ingersoll IRTW9491 it has 3000 pounds of torque. I have nothing bad to say about Milwaukee. I will put up my Milwaukee to any Snap-on toll I have. The reason I’m looking at the ingersoll is I live in Massachusetts. The winter weather here is a bitch and taking off lug nuts from semi trucks blows. I have the 1/2 3/8 1/4 and drill from Milwaukee. It’s cheaper better stronger and a 5 year warranty compared to Snap-on 1 year. I have 9 batteries. I’m only looking at the ingersoll because it’s 3000 pounds of torque.
If this tool is meant for construction grade, why isn't it on the MX line using a 72V monster battery like the rest of the pro level construction toys?
Jesus. Over torqued much? This gun takes lugs off easily. Someone sat there cranking them down for a while. It should have no problem taking them off even the half-inch Milwaukee has no problem with 33mm lugs. The Guy in this video is probably the same one who put them on.
Wow!!! That tool is insane. And Bro, you deserve more subscribers
thanks alot!!!
the battery is lose to reduce vibrations going to the battery. There is a black bracket that is separated from the body of the tool.

Wow that thing is a beast ! Thanks for the video
thanks for watching sir
Bro is it worth ? I’m scared to use it.
the battery is supposed to shake, Milwaukee added that piece it sits in so it doesn't vibrate the battery lose.
thanks for watching

really u make real video. watching u from saudi arabia jeddah city
Milwaukee is killing the game with this 1!
Great video bro! I have the 1/2 milwaukee high torque its a beast I couldn't imagine how powerful this thing is. The battery wobble is normal, designed to protect the battery 🔋 from vibration.

@28:46 the battery is designed to be loose to protect the battery from the impact guns vibration.

I work at a mine and just bought one for big tires :)
Nice. The battery is designed to be lose so it last longer. Im waiting for the new one with a longer shaft but I got to see the pro and the cons on the length. Over the road it will pay for it self with one tire or two but I don't care im buying one of this impacts.
Wow what a machine I need one when I get in my truck
i think the small one will do fine, just make sure all lugnuts are torqued to 450_500 ft lbs, so it wont have trouble removing em, the bigger one will remove tighter lugnuts, but its a little heavier
Wow supper big impact wrench ( bigtools) wow...wow....!!!👍🇺🇸
Thank you so much for this video!!!

@@dchawk81 The air you grab from the red hose? or where do you get the air from? and the gun that marks?
Those nuts in the beginning were over torqued. Coming from a heavy equipment mechanic with a 3/4 dr. Milwaukee
When the battery overheats all the bars flash they redesigned the battery box because previous models were to solid and wobbled loose and the battery lost connection so the battery should be able to flop around it's almost like rubberized
thanks for that info!!!

That snap on brushless is pretty weak for the price...😒
Nice tool, i do like it
thank for watching sir 🙏
the battery is rubber mounted for the shock. suppose to be like that. maybe try a new socket or extension and see if the friction ting holds. might be wear on the old socket
Now let's see the video of you putting all of the lug nuts back on.
Nice video man! Ima look into getting one.
thanks for watching sir!!

sry no way your removing semi lugs with a 1/2 impact ,I don't care who makes it
What size socket is that
Good job thanks 👍
That socket is actually killing the battery because it fits lose... you need a 33mm it might even take them out faster
I will try a 33mm, thanks
I don't want the thing, I need it. I really need it.
Very good your videos. wich Jack recommends to change these tires on the road.

I’m considering to buy this for my trucks

yea the battery holder is made like that now to reduce vibration
Hey if you don't mind my asking, what socket did you use, brand and size thanks.
The socket is a 1"5/16, the brand proto
How long was the extension?
Pneumatic all day baby. Compressor for the lugs and compressor available for air tire pumping
_Good tool_
Do you like the short anvil or prefer to of had the long?
Next time i would go with the long anvil
Do you prefer the d-handle or the pistol grip for every day truck work? I think the pistol grip seems more useful in other areas and more comfortable to use, but you've used them both.
Yes for ever day work the pistol grip its better, but for wheels i like the d handle, thanks for watching sir 🙏
Great video
I think the battery is design to be "floating" they do this on a lot of tools that vibrate a lot
Yeah, they got a little battery isolator in there that makes it so that it can move quite a bit because of concerns
IM assuming the battery started with a full charge.
Yea
Good Video 👍

Hope with your vodeo milkw do the right thing and fix all this issues
did you tighten them with the same gun?
WHAT TORQUE SPEED DID YOU USE? AND IS IT ENOUGH TORQUE TO SECURE THE LUG NUT BACK IN PLACE
hello, I used the highest setting, this lugnuts go torqued from 450 to 500 ft lbs, the Milwaukee will torque over 500 ft lbs easily
Thank you very much for your answer!!
Imagine a m12 version of this
How good is it putting the lug nuts back on? Is it reliable?
Yes it will torque them to 500ftlbs easily
@@TRUCKINGTIPSDIY to what extent of the battery life?
How's this holding up? Are you still running it?
It still working great no issues at all, thanks for watching 🙏
If this tool is meant for construction grade, why isn't it on the MX line using a 72V monster battery like the rest of the pro level construction toys?
It would be too heavy of a tool to carry!
Awesome
Is it good on tightening the bolts to 500 ft lbs
hello, thise lug nuts go from 450-500 Ft lbs
👉I still have not seen anyone removing super rusted nuts and bolts yet,, they are just going alone like anybody else removing very easy lug nuts✍️🙄🙄
What's the price on the gun?
799 bare tool 1299 with two 12.0 batteries and a charger
Can the other one get the job done?
Yes, but it struggles more to remove the lugnuts, i would just spend the extra money and be done with
Was that just one battery that you use?
yes just one battery
Word is they have a more powerful one coming out for rail road.
Wao quá tuyệt vời cho công nghệ này
❤❤❤❤
clip này hay lắm anh ơi
With an extension that long you lose quite a bit of torque
yes we had to put it on to get to the lug nuts on the drive axel
@@TRUCKINGTIPSDIY you can actually get on with a long anvil
New subs here... Would you still recommend the small one?
thanks for subscribing,, yes the small its great, just make sure the lugnuts are not over torqued and it will take them off

Can you tell me how to replace the brake rotor of truck??
i never worked on rotor on trucks
What size is that socket?
hello, the socket size is a 1 5/16 or a 33mm
Note that this one is not the model WITH ANVIL so it is stubbier.
Check out the video i made of the 1" 2867

yo aca en argentina compre y las bateria son un mierda. y la gantia no te dan ni bola

The other problem is he is using a 1 5/16 socket. Doesn't fit perfect, massive amounts of power loss
