Thanks for the video, it helped a lot. This repair kit works for a 2005 KW T600 and you don't have to disconnect the air lines if you don't want to, there's plenty of room to do it. 👍
Great video, that are very helpful information and thumbs up. I'm owning a Skoolie in Germany and the air is leaking at the valve. So I will try to solve the issue as your are explaining here and this should save a lot of money :-) Best wishes form Germany Wolfgang
Thanks for the videos brother I am a journey man heavy equipment mechanic with 8 years of heavy duty truck and equipment experience learning a lot I am new to your channel just subbed to it keep them repair videos coming God bless
Hey big boss, thanks for this. My yellow button does not pop out below 20 psi when I do the air brake test. Do you know what would be causing it and how I can repair it. Thanks man.
2013 peterbilt paccar when I push the trailer supply in I hear air leaking from the valve and I also hear air blowing out my trailer valve on my air tank. When I connect a different truck to the same trailer everything work fine.
I ordered this kit and parts don't fit. The value is from a volvo with 6 air hose fittings and I was told that the valve is no longer made so they ordered a replacement but all hose fittings are totally at different locations so I saw your utube showing how to fix the existing one
I still have the new valve and tried to make it work. I talked to 5 different mechanics and they didn't know exactly how to connect hoses and said to play with it. 3 hoses seem to are identified but three are not. I know that the truck and trailer buttons each have an inline and output. And there is an exhaust but that's it. I am told that I have to follow each hose but being a 2002 vehicle is not easy and I am old. Any suggestions
Will the rebuilt kit stop air coming from the blue line when the brake is applied? I don't have a check valve. I have to double check valve s off the foot valve.
I'm not sure what type of valve control I have, but my buttons don't pop out at 40psi or all the way down to 0psi they just kinda slowly release. Any idea if the control valve itself is the cause of this problem?
It broke on me 3 times in the last 3 years. Today it started to act up. Yellow valve wont push in. Cant release truck breaks. Finally it quit. I sprayed dw40 just to get it released and go home. Why it wont release??? Am just trying to get new one in the morning. Any trick to get me going?
So the kit doesn't comes with O rings for the fittings on the back of the valve, most of the time they are the ones that leak? I guess is better to test the valve before buy kit or new valve!
I did just that. Put new one in and relized i needed a new plate. The one with 6 phillips screws. So i took the old one off the bad one amd swapped it. But as i put the old face plate on tge new mv 3 valve all the valves popped out. So i put them all back in. But now when we go to release the brakes the tab wont stay pushed in. I have to hold it the whole time. I dont know why
did you rebuild it or put a new valve? if you rebuild it only thing a can think of is if you put the oring the correct way, mon minute 5.55 on this video
That’s exactly what happened to me this morning o- ring is bad just started leaking outta the blue just swapped my tail gate line with trailer line and got back to my yard I drive dump truck
@@TRUCKINGTIPSDIYyeah it does. But I figured out it was the lady at the inspection that was failing people because she was hating life. What a bitch. But when I went again with another person they passed me and told me everything was working like it should.
@@TRUCKINGTIPSDIY awesome, subscribed, shared with the freightliner Columbia group... btw, are these Cascadia parking brake valves identical to the Columbia's? I could imagine they're similar.
Small tip, add the lube before installing new o-rings helps for install, and makes a better seal when in and outside diameter has some lube.
thank you, will try that next time👍👍
Thanks for taking time to do this video. Learned that we can rebuild them like my air dryer
thank you!!

no o rings for fittings, only for the valves
Do they sell replacements for those individual fittings on the back or need to buy whole new one?
@@ravshana just buy 90degrees 3/8” fittings and replace the one that is leaking.
