I'm a real 737 pilot in Brazil. Your self vector was very realistic. The only thing, is that the ATC would have asked you to reduce to 180 kt before IAF probably 😅. That tail wind lives on the final approach. It's always there. Nice flight! Wonderful plane from PMDG!

PAPIs are still broken haha. It's been 4 years Asobo, the new release is coming out next year. The entire development cycle of MSFS2020 and such a simple thing has never been fixed.
i bet we will still have the PAPI problems in MSFS2024...
And let's not talk about the most basic feature of a game : Save game 😃
Microsoft has weird priorities for Ms2024. Fully animated animals like deer and some very nice trees. And the most important like airports and atc are left in the dust. 😪

@@personagoldy6003 MSFS is a game for casual players because that's where most of their customer base resides. Microsoft has little interest in perfecting the "simulation" aspect because it doesn't give them a reasonable return on investment. If you want developers more serious about true aviation simulation, you'll have to look elsewhere.

And remote parkings are very common at Guarulhos. There are a lot of buses that transport the passengers to the respective aircraft.

My first PMDG T7 Flight was LPPT - SBGR with the same Liverie PT-MUJ. For SBGR the best scenery is the geardown simulations. To continue your South america tour, you can fly Swiss 77W flight LX92 SBGR to SAEZ Buenos Aires

I live near of Viracopos (the alternate airport for this flight), It is the Brazilian most biggest freight airport. When TFDi release MD-11 I will do the FedEx flights from Memphis to Viracopos (today they flight with the 767). As an airplane spotter, I saw many many times the MD-11, the most beautfiful aircraft ever made (or one of).

Thanks for flying to my home country Emi! I'd say the procedure was quite good. But I don't fly much to Guarulhos in the sim. Flew in and out in real life on a GOL 737 for the 2023 formula 1. I'm more of a CGH-SDU guy in the sim. Cheers!

I can really recommend to check out Atarium's SIA livery. Absolutely beautiful.
Approach to GRU varies a lot depending on time of day, i’ve never been vectored i real life going into this airport, when arriving late at night on the EVRAL1A star you might get a shortcut direct to LOMEN leaving you about 4000ft above the path which is a lot of fun, when arriving during the day you normally complete the whole arrival and might get direct to SANPA at some point to complete the ILS 10R.

The airport that you were'nt remember on the first ETOPS sector was Dakar ;)
Any plans on doing av video on the different equipment and display options like you did with the 737. Many of the options are similar so it might be worth covering 777 specific ones.
Emanuel it will be great if you could do a proper ETOPS altn. Put in a failure and squawk 7700 and land at your ETOPS altn. Cheers!

Hopefully pmdg fixes the reported bug of having no manual brakes on landing if you have used the save flight feature which is common on long haul flights.

One little point: VFR traffics are impossible to find around LIRF since it’s a TMA airspace
Hi, you have a class D airspace from the ground up to 3500ft around LIRF. VFR is permitted in class D airspace and ATC does not have to provide separation between VFR and IFR in it, but only traffic information. And knowing Italian ATC... let's just say I wouldn't want to rely on it without taking additional measures.

Since you fly more long haul now and have more days off in between, I guess. Does the MSFS flying and making tutorials help you to "stay in shape" or is it just fun without additional benefits?
Just with regards to the landing performance in Brazil, the magnetic declination is about 20 degrees W. At this time, the wind was just 2 kt, but in the weather information, should we put 080/2 and it automatically compensates or the better procedure be to add the 20 degrees -> 100/2? I believe that can make a bit of difference in stronger winds/gusting conditions?

Hello everyone, I have a question for the people who have a RTX4080 (super). I am looking to buy a (new) computer but still deciding on what gpu to buy. I do want to run msfs on as high as possible graphics, but a complete rtx4090 setup is really expensive to start with 😅. So I am looking to buy a 4080 setup, but can anyone confirm how the performance is? Probably fine, but how does it run the 777 on vatsim for example (on 4K res and custom scenery). My PMDG OPS Center stopped working from one second to the next, i cant add PTP liveries anymore, the button "Install from PTP files" is unresponsive.
I tried everything, Updating, Reinstall, Admin, High DPI Settings, Compatibility Mode, nothing helped. Yesterday it worked fine and suddenly stopped working,
Anybody else with that Problem?
i added some Atarium Liveries with the OPS center 1 hour ago, everything works fine

@@honnebombll You probably have not yet selected Simulator, Installed Product and Variant/model choices above the box you are looking at?
@@SlyRacoon83 No, as i said it worked fine yesterday, and all the years before, i already installed couple of liveries from flightsim, the 737 isnt working either anymore, I use PMDG and the OPS Center since FSX.
When i go to Livery Utilities i can choose Simulator and Installed Products but all the other Options except Scan Now are unresponsive and the White Fields in which the liveries used to be listed are empty.
My only assumption is that maybe its a Firewall issue and that a hidden Update blocks something. Other than that i have no idea anymore.
Am I the only one having crashes on longhaul routes while putting data on the FMC?
I'm gonna go on a limb here and ask if you have GSX enabled. I needed to remove that when I flew the 737's and tried to enter data while in flight. However, I have an old computer and I'm assuming that was my problem.

Rotation input in the PMDG 777 aren't realistic.

They barely pull on the yoke in a 777.
The pitch command is also too much!
