He gave us a tour today, best tour guide and orator. It’s not easy to be factual, endearing, funny, charming, And keep the attention of all cultures and ages for a whole hour. My son talked about him for the rest of the afternoon. Thank you Scott kelly!
Scott was my Sgt in the AAC , he’s a great bloke !
what year ? I was 79c
He sounds great fun.
It’s Beefy 409 from RUclips…..he’s a lovely man….
You're a lovely 😍 😄
The Beefeaters are superb at what they do, some real characters amongst them.
Scott Kelly is a treasure! He was our guide for a 2022 Ceremony of the Keys, and he was incredibly funny, informative, and warm.
Would love him to be my history teacher.
They all would.
I've never met a shy and retiring RSM.
They demand respect by their presence.
The NCOs are more responsible for British victories than any general.
This guy is a natural, perfect for the job! 😄He would make a great Town Crier 😆
7:03 "Are you not entertained?" lol
Love it Scott is fantastic and a typical Warrant Officer. It’s great to hear the stories of the tower.
Love Beefy 409 his story's are great such a happy chap and funny
Scott is an amazing guide, so thorough and a fantastic storyteller. Make sure you participate in his tour when you go there.
This is great! We went to the Tower earlier this year but unfortunately our Beefeater guide had to stop a few minutes in as it was raining too hard.
Omg that was fantastic. Really had me laughing hard
Hes a cure for my depression 😂
Beefy 409 has gone through a lot, he’s amazing in all he does x❤
He’s fabulous 👍🏻❤️
He is fantastic. I hope i See He one day live
I saw him the week before. Even for a French, he is so funny!
What an amazing individual. The Army is full of characters like this.
I wonder when the uniform will be updated to CR.
Fantastic
Brilliant
He seems a worthy successor to Bill Callahan, this was obviously filmed after the Kings succession, but before the new uniforms were ready, as he's still wearing the late Queens cipher.
It seems that the uniforms with the new cipher were only issued shortly before the coronation took place i.e 6 months ago.
It long passed time he had a new uniform with C III R
What a guy 😂
Still wearing the Queen’s standard. Curious how long it takes to change over all the uniforms and emblems. Must take some time indeed
409 was the Yoman on our recent visit to London Tower April 2024 (we're still here touring the UK), what an absolute blast he was.
Brillia
I wanna meet him (": I never went to tower of London sigh
He loves his job

That is very kind 🙏 Thank you very much for your generous support!

No one can hold a candle next to dear Billy!
He is AMAZING 👏 😂
AKA Beefy 409
Would have loved to have him when i went to the tower of london hes brill
Why don't you give him beef to eat.😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅
If any British military personnel are watching this and would care to answer a question for a very confused American I'd appreciate it. Excuse my ignorance but I am genuinely curious.
How are the life guards different from say, Coldstream or grenadier? I know they're mounted but do coldstream guards then get picked to become life guards? Does the title mean you are literally a guardsman for the rest of your life? When you are a life guard do you do anything different that regular soldiers can't or don't do? What about the blues and royals? Why are they called this? Are they not guardsmen the rest of their lives too?
The Life Guards and Blues and Royals form the Household Cavalry Regiment, hence the horses for ceremonial duties and on operations they use armoured vehicles.
The Blues and Royals are an amalgamation of 2 Regiments, The Royal Horse Guards (who got the nickname of the Blues because they had a Blue uniform as opposed to the Life Guards who had a Red Uniform) and The Royal Dragoons, (Royals)
The Guards Regiments are Infantry units alongside their ceremonial duties.
You don't start off in the Guards and then move on to the Life Guards, you apply to join a Regiment and generally will stay with them for you time in the Army.
I follow Beefy409.
Who Is This Guy
Scott Kelley
Need a new uniform with CR instead of ER
