I don t think anyone should be able to touch or come near the horses. For one thing I don't believe they are trained to endure people's constant touching poking and crowding them. Being bitten is no joke. They can shred a shoulder or remove a chunk of flesh quite easily. Being kicked is life altering been there done that soft arena saved me but never got on a horse again. I would thank the guards maybe it's not done but they deserve respect.

But I don’t understand why people on vacation insist on acting like they are in some way superior to the host country, therefore they can do/say whatever they like. You certainly wouldn’t walk up to a mounted police officer & grab the reigns of his horse. If you notice when the horse refuses to box then another guard comes & takes the reins & guides him back in. Taking the reins gives you control of the horse. So these idiots walk up and think they’re entitled to grab the reigns of the King’s Guard? If the King’s Guard is meant to be taken seriously, then they should ban tourists from the area.

I'm proud to say my Sons are both soldiers. Neither is a guardsman, but the respect they have for these guardsmen is immense. These men stand to attention for 8 hours straight. In full regalia. That's impressive, and takes an inordinate amount of self discipline to conduct appropriately, and these fine guardsmen deserve the utmost respect.

I'm glad to see the security made that crowd of men leave, they were laughing & being disrespectful, becoming giddy and egging each other on, too many in number, loud and looking to make themselves some fun out of the royal guard and horse. I like that the horse knocked one of them out of the way and the security guy had the courage and authority to make them all leave despite the whining of the guy with the camera, lying, and pretending they were not disrespectful. I assume he does not know what respect is, therefore, does not know when it's missing.
You got it wrong. The guy with the camera is Buska in the Park, who has had his own channel for a long time, and is one of the only RUclipsrs who educates ignorant visitors and tells them off when they’re being disrespectful. He told the crowd in this video, “You have to leave.”

That bothers me too. Tourism has become a problem around the world. They think they have to record themselves being edgy or breaking rules. Perhaps to post it and make money.

The Kings Guard are military. They’re not there to be laughed at and have a photo opp. The disrespect these people and horses have to put up with is maddening. I don’t know how they can do it day after day after day. I would go crazy.
Actually they are there for a photo op - why else do you think they're there?

I don’t understand is why , these people are laughing? You’re in their way of guarding and doing their job. Yes it is different but with all do respect. Get out of their way. Keep your distance. I think they should start writing tickets to people who grab the reins. These horses are smart and can be very unpredictable at the same time. Give them their space.
In my opinion these guards and their magnificent horses are just stunning! I am so happy England has kept its traditions! I just wish people would stop using and laughing at them. These men and women are soldiers and their horses are welled trained.

The police aren't doing enough to stop this disrespectful behaviour. At least the public are starting to warn the louts.
No disrespect to the Royal family, but they need to rethink security at this location for their soldiers and their service animals. There has to be a better way for the visitors to take a peek and not have their loyal guards endure this crap. It’s simply out of control what’s going on in these videos and aren’t they or the head of their security watching all this nonsense like the rest of us?
So what can they do? Put the guards behind bars? Seeing the way these tourists behave maybe they should put them into cages while they take their photos and act like idiots. It would be a lot safer for the horse and guard.
They clearly need to put barriers up,and prohibit any contact from the public!!! The rudeness and disrespect is appalling! They act as though this is some freak show! They should be fined and held accountable. Then I bet it would curb people's horrible behavior!!

There were two members of the public having a go at them young men, which I think was harder hitting than the police telling them, as it shows them that the general public won’t stand for that level of disrespect. Well done two those men.
I’m so proud of our guards with their beautiful horses they look immaculate everyday they put up with tourists who can be quite rude at times and they keep their composure I love them all
Glad signs up preventing touching now. Next lets set the standard of 6 ft away from guards, horses, box and arches. This is not Disneyland or a petting zoo!!!

This spectacle is symbolic of modern society meets traditional values, there are always rules to respect but we have so many special people to whom these rules don’t apply; especially if they’re boosting their social media profile. These guards must be wishing they could be more forceful to stop the idiots.
