You can get a clip for the lap part of the seat belt which holds you in better, but you need to mount a nice winged seat on the floor Geordie, the curse a lot of cars when you wear a helmet.
I have the same issue! Couldn’t get comfortable with a helmet. I got a steering wheel extension, which helped when the seat is leaning back further but, not ideal. I’ve got a set of Recaro Sportster CS seats to go in which should lower my bum by about 40mm. Not a cheap option but, they retain the airbags and heaters, so still good to daily and ADR compliant.
Mate, how tall are you lol. I'm 184cm, no issues with my helmet. That Bell helmet of yours does look tall, different shape from my Shoei.
@@warboyrb I’m 188 but that doesn’t paint the whole picture. It’s your seated height that matters. I’m quite long in the body. Anyway, it’s universally agreed that the seating position is a little high.
@@warboyrb I'm 182, but all back. The seat is mounted way too high , it's a bit annoying.
Sounds a bit wierd might want to check the coils. Could be running on 3 cylinders.

Track days don't need to be scary, you go out smooth and slowly turn it up as you get more confident. The key is to not hold up anyone cause you think you are faster, if they are behind you for half a lap means they are probably faster so let them through

Factory brakes/pads are perfectly fine - been using them and no issues. Even longevity wise I can get 5-6 PI/Winton/Sandown days. It's just a Yaris 🤣
Yeah, don't really understand why so many are doing brake upgrades on this car, must be doing some serious track work.

Although it will stick to a steel panel, the mount was not designed to be used on the exterior of a moving car.

Lowered seat brackets for the next mod?
Its not the brackets, it's the actual chassis that has the welded sections that's so high. It's not an easy fix.

How do you fix the understeer?
Airbox is a letdown, it needs to be changed as there's gaps in the snorkel and box itself.
