That's not the more complicated deck to build, I don't remember the land but there's one with "tap : sac a creature, you gain life equal to it's toughness" basically you can sac anything you want and at the end of your turn it comes back with it's effect. Basically the combo is : Sac Angels of the ruin with the land, gains 7 life, end of turn you gained 7 life you can cast Angels of the ruin again and exile two permanents. Even if you get wipe board 10 times all you have to do is recast your commander again. That's why she has lot of cards that gives indestructible and hexproof to her commander. She only need to protect this only card and it's nearly impossible to lose. And gaining life in mono white is easy. So I won't class Celestine at the same lvl of combo as cards like Magnus the Red, Belisarius or Lucea. Imo they need far more synergy and combo (and strategy) than Celestine. Celestine you only need your commander, gaining life (which again is granted in your mono white deck) and creatures in your graveyard. It makes me think of my Kathril deck, you only need the right keywords in your graveyard then cast your commander and win the game. Only way to win against decks like Kathril and Celestine is to exile the graveyard (or have cards who say you win the game but not fun to build and play). What an amazing game with so much artifact and enchant destruction! Wow. I REALLY wanted to see that Elesh Norn hit the table and mess up everyone's plans..... I was glad that Rachel won that game.
I really don't understand why Rachel didn't discard Elesh Norn to Trading Post (at 42:00, right before she was forced to discard it), gaining 4 more life and bringing back Elesh Norn on her end step. It would have destroyed Jordan's board state
Spoiler Wow, who would guess that the player with 61 life who went completely unimpeded for most the game would end up winning? /s I feel like there were some questionable choices in regard to threat assessment, but still a neat game with fun commanders imo
Exactly my thoughts. Honestly pretty boring game all things considered when you could already see the writing on the wall halfway through the game that no one seemed to care to mess with Rachel's board or be aggressive towards her. The only really curveball thrown was that Mirrodin Besieged being played thinking Jordan could possibly win out of nowhere but as long as that Angel of the Ruins was not sitting in exile you knew it wasn't gonna stick on the board for long.
The only threat against all this life was Jamie and his big creatures. But as he could not attack or build his board, it was of course the untouched lifelink player that easily won.
I think you underestimate how well Rachel (and Azorius in general) are able to eliminate the threats that can effect them and let others fight it out. Rachel played lots more removal than any other player (Jordan came close at the end) and was able to control the game.
@@tren3220 rachel wasnt azorious, but i do see your point. Felt Jamie got alot of unwarrented aggression though, considering at the time of death he had no field and all his scary things were destroyed

Gotta love that Thassa and Heliod interaction. It's like, what's is this? Theros 40k?
Love to see Jimmy learning the 40k memes
What an amazing game with so much artifact and enchant destruction! Wow. I REALLY wanted to see that Elesh Norn hit the table and mess up everyone's plans..... I was glad that Rachel won that game.
I really don't understand why Rachel didn't discard Elesh Norn to Trading Post (at 42:00, right before she was forced to discard it), gaining 4 more life and bringing back Elesh Norn on her end step. It would have destroyed Jordan's board state
Did anyone notice the new commander deck brothers war in the back ground
🤯
how many times did I expect Jordan to tutor up a darksteel forge!!!
ive listened to 36:58 on repeat for about 30 mins now, im dead
Hair flip too lool
Every time Rachel plays it's a very good game, but this one was one of the best ever!
Hurry my friend, thank you for watching, hit me up you have w.on a P.S.5 for yourself
Wow. Rachel is an incredible player. She just always does something impactful each turn.

Oh Jimmy. Magnus in fact DID do something very wrong. Space Wolves know what's up.
I like it when Josh and Jimmy play together

Me too
What a game...loved that it was just 1hr game play of twists and turns and no chitchat.
Jordan's Robin hood reference made me chuckle
What a classic!
One of my favorite movies when I was a kid!
The number of board wipes; a true commander game
Spoiler
Wow, who would guess that the player with 61 life who went completely unimpeded for most the game would end up winning?
@@HydraQU33N My bad, I confused Jordan being Azorius, with Rachel who felt like she was playing Azorius control!
Durdle Fest! Rachel is always a pleasure to watch play. One of my fav all around mtg people. Crushed on a mono white deck too. Skills!
I run descent of dragons in my Prossh deck. Turning all of those 0/1s into dragons is a blast.
OMG this was a very crazy game loved it. Great Win Rachel.
Rachel always puts on such a performance of these games. Kudos to her for another win!

Card kingdom does not ship same day, they have a 3 day processing period for orders. It usually takes 5-7 days to get my orders from them, which is good, but not insanely fast by any means.

I see I'm not the only Rachel Stan here haha. Epic game!

i absolutely love that Rachel took it home, not gonna lie. Mono White can do things too!
i just want to know why jordan and jamie like refused to attack rachel until the very end.
I felt like her individual life points were less valuable because she had access to more. If we were going to beat her, it was going to be by underwhelming with value not chip damage.
@@JordanPridgen or how about using an instant kill effect and then swinging into the tokens matter spell slinger deck that used a ton of its' building spells previously? Tbf i am actually just curious what your thought process was there
@@Misadon92 Jimmy could have just swung at Jordan to kill him that turn. Or if he had any sort of X damage spell he could have won with that. Jordan at least had a chance against Rachel
I like games like that. Jordan's board was so far ahead, but Rachel had so much life and, while she only had a few pieces on the board, they were pretty powerful. Once Jamie and Jimmy were out, it was really hard to tell who was going to win. I might have to build a Celestine deck. I love the challenge of mono-white.
Oh yeah I'm really goona look at some of the legendaries from the Warhammer to build around
Absolutely love Rachel. Best jokes
So many crazy plays in this game, y'all are so good at this :D Love the Celestine deck, came for Lucea Kane inspiration but now I'm building an angel lady
Please bring magnus the red to another game🙏🙏🙏
I appreciate Jordan's mono-tone Ke$ha quote. It was noticed.
I am a simple woman. I see Rachel Weeks in the thumbnail, I click on the video ❤
