What to do when your washing machine doesn't spin | Samsung US

The most common reason a washer won't spin is because it's unbalanced. A Ub or Ur code can indicate this. Make sure your washer is level, and that your laundry inside the tub is not weighted heavily to one side. Finally, check your drain hose installation, and if you have a front-loading washer, clean your pump filter.
