I have a friend who's had two of these. Both 2LT, one in the dark sport red, the other in dark silver. Another friend bought I believe a 2LT also, in imperial blue. Another friend has a 2LT in black. My aunt had a 2007, I believe it was a 2LT in sandstone. I love these stupid things.
Well I've owned my '06 for seventeen years now, and other than the lack of corrosion protection on the lower body I'd say it has been a good soldier. I live in southern PA, and they do salt the roads in the wintertime. Last year it would not pass state safety inspection because of excessive rust. The spot welded joint beneath the plastic rocker panels had completely deteriorated for about 3 feet forward of the trailing arm mount. The structure of the trailing arm mount was so bad that's what caused the inspection failure, as it is structural. The rear bumper was completely rusted through on the driver's side. I spent many many hours under that car last year cutting out cancer and welding in new sheet metal. If the car you are considering has been in a no salt environment then it's probably a safe buy. If not, get that car up on a lift before you buy it and poke around with a screwdriver!
I currently have the LT 2008 I love it yeah it's 16 years old but I love it so much I wouldn't trade it for work and I got mine from a car dealership that deals with used cars❤❤
I have this one. Underrated car for sure

Bought a 2010 SS auto in black with only 39,000 KM about 24,000 miles. Going to pick it up tomorrow 😎 very excited.
Congrats!!

Definitely something to consider, however, I live in California so it’s not a huge concern for me 👍
@@Sameer_AhmadTV You are probably good then. Other than the rust it's' been a pretty good car for the last 17 years.
