    Great review. Thank you. New version looks much nicer I think. Additional waterproofing is a big plus. I am going to buy the new one and give it to my brother for his birthday. If mine goes wrong I’ll swap it when it appears again. Just bought Lidl electric toothbrush for £5 with replaceable batteries

      Hi Greg..sorry for delay...youtube doesn't send alerts for replies to replies...yes it was a good buy at that price...I noticed in Lidl this week they were up to £16.99!...still better than the original one's £19.99 but not as good as the £12.99 :)

    Is your base an eu plug or uk plug?

    • @TomsManShed
      @TomsManShed  3 месяца назад

      Hi Sarah ...it's a Euro plug.
      This is quite common on "bathroom" appliances ...even though it's unlikely it will be charged in the bathroom there is a possibility somebody might.
      My toothbrush charger is the same ...and of course mains shavers .
      It's because standard 3 pin sockets are not allowed in bathrooms...the 2 pin ones have a thermal cut out in them that prevents a high load appliance being used...also having a built in transformer means some (like in hotels) can be dual voltage...220/110V

      Hi Dimitri (hope I got your name right) ...was yours this latest model or the original one I reviewed that also broke (the darker blue one) ?...if it was this latest one it's quite worrying...I will add any edits to the description over time on this one's reliability.

      @@TomsManShed got the name spot on, yes this is the latest one and can only do my teeth once before the battery dies, where as 4 days ago it would last for over a week.
      Also I think I lost the receipt, I have the box though, so maybe they will accept it. I really liked it, too bad it stopped holding charge.

      Thanks for that Dimitri...yes will have to definitely keep an eye on mine...hopefully they will still honour the return without a receipt (you prob know already but if you used the Lidl plus app and scanned the lidl plus card at checkout you will have a digital receipt on your phone) ...hope you get it sorted ...I will do another update if mine goes faulty.
