Will try this fix, thank you! If I end up needing to replace the battery though, I have only managed to source similar batteries with only two wires. I guess the third (white) wire is for checking whether the battery has power left, is it possible to convert the two wire ones to three wires?

Not sure if battery will last, but this has fixed mine for the moment. However, replacement batteries aren't hard to find, and with a bit of soldering, and some heat shrink, should be good to go again.

Mine still working -- but keep in mind it was brand new unit so it's different from something that was used. Sure they can be sourced cheaply:)

Mine is not charging but battery is fine and it still works. Any solution to fix harger? Or how to charge it with wires and not wirelessly?

I have the same problem, the battery seems okay, but the charger is not sedning any current. I tried opening the charger and its all one big black epoxy blob so no way to fix that. I would like to know how to charge it using the wires though, whether its safe to send some current in there and how much voltage.

Hello! It is not clear from the video what the problem was. Could you describe it in text? Thank you!

Recharge battery (little bit) outside device to unlock battery management system (BMS) - after that it will recharge normal way.

@@ElectronicNoobBlog Oh, I got you. Thank you!! Apparently, in my case the problem is different, the charge lasts exactly 30 seconds, then the red light flashes, requiring charging.

@@Stabicam I had this issue. Battery was toast. After 10 seconds of use it was flat. Just replaced it with new battery. Had to adapt it and stick/solder to fit in but it works nicely. Just look for any 14500 3.7V 800mAh battery. If are luckier, you can find it with the proper adapter. I have an older nevadent with a XH-2P jack.
