Best part... you waited a year! How many reviews do we get with “unboxing”. I could give a damn about how it’s boxed. After a year it’s been tested and you can truly give it a thumbs up or down. I bought a Waterpick that takes batteries. One stopped working after 2 months. The warranty replacement water pick stopped after eight months. No more of that brand for me. One improvement could have been a comment on how long the water in the tank lasted on floss n massage. (Why do we need to massage our gums? Go to a China town massage parlor. Then request a ‘Swedish gum’.) thanks again.
Thank you for your positive comment. Yes I agree about the unboxing, I'm guilty of doing reviews as soon as I get a product, I was fortunate when I made this review in that I had been using the product for a year when I started my channel. But this is my most viewed review so perhaps that is why so something to think about for me. Yes I think something I missed was saying how long the tank lasts when it's on; typically it lasts me a couple of cleans, probably 3 at most.
I avoided that brand after looking at their website and seeing reviews. Full of pitter patter about how they were first and patented it. Who cares? DOES IT WORK and has anyone made one better and cheaper? I bought a H2O flosser and it's so powerful. I'm still on setting one out of five and it makes my gums bleed. Really does get the crap out of your mouth quickly though after eating oats and stuff.
You should do more product reviews. The way you presented this and the length and information was perfect. Not to much, not to little. Everything somebody needs to make a buying decision. I have watched 30 or so reviews on flossers and yours is the best. Thanks - I live in Philippines so they don't have that brand but i can see its OEM made for many brands and i'll order the same model just a different name..
Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate your positive comments! I've just been finding my way and seeing what kind of content seems to work best. I still use the water flosser now so am convinced it's a good buy.

It still brought out a crap ton of particles I think from even a long time ago! 🤢 Afterwards my gums felt super clean as if I just went to the dentist, and I no longer have that constant dirty-even-though-i-brushed feeling
Thank you so much for making this video! I just got the same water flosser and basically turned the bathroom into a water park. Thankfully a friend shared this video with me and things went a lot smoother after that. Again, thank you for sharing this!
I'm really glad my review helped you. It's comments like this that make it worthwhile. I do think water flossers would make excellent water pistols for kids in the summer.
I'm in my mid fifties, and had bleeding gums when flossing pretty much my entire life. (ever since I started flossing at all, which was in my teens). I had just accepted that for me, it was normal, and nothing could be done. However, I no longer have ANY bleeding. I haven't done anything major, but I am simply flossing more often (after every main meal if possible), and always rinse with a mouthwash. (I'm using Listerine Total). I have also switched to an electric toothbrush. I do (or did) have mild periodontal disease, but the bleeding stopped without having any special treatment. I pinch myself every time I floss now - it is hard to believe I've finally stopped the bleeding! Btw, I'm here because I've just received a Waterpik as a gift, but I'm not sure it's really necessary (for me). I'll see how I go with it though.
I love water flossers too. I find using interdental brushes and a tongue scraper before using a water flosser to get rid of the final remnants works well for me.
You can keep your mouth slightly open which allows the water to pour out water constantly. Also flossing should come before brushing... The flouride from tooth paste protects your teeth
A tiny adjustment i've found from my dentist, use the flosser to remove most of the stuff first, then use the toothbrush to polish, using water on the toothpaste is washing off the protective coating which strengthens the enamel, think of it as a knight putting on armour, gets caught in acid rain and it melts off to leave the internal leather padding behind. i got the philips sonic 3000 version and that has done me well for almost a year since it came out!
Yes I have since heard this too that the flosser washes off the protective benefits of the toothbrushing so should be done before brushing rather than afterwards.
Yes this is what I do, otherwise i will brush my teeth and then wait 30 mins before using the water flosser (easy to do this in 2020 when I havent been going to the office and just working from home!!)

It arrives tomorrow so I hope it helps, thank you for the really descriptive review! It was exactly what I needed to know (:
I've had mine for 7 years and it's still going strong (wireless/battery operated)- far easier than using the stringy crap that you don't need to buy in such large quanties anymore, much cheaper in the long run and easy to do.
Not a criticism, but my understanding is that if your gums bleed when you floss, you probably need to floss MORE. It is not normal to experience bleeding gums while brushing, you should definitely check that with your dentist, also I would recommend using a regular floss, then oral irigator and tooth brushing at the end as it will keep some of the fluorides from the toothpaste

I have the Waterpick (manufacturers name) model and it is fantastic, but I use it every time I eat anything so it gets used 20 to 30 times a day (I’m retired so am at home all the time) which means the battery needs recharging ever 2 to 3 days which is no problem as it has a two year guarantee. But whatever model you use it is certainly the best & most effective way of cleaning your teeth.
Thanks for your comment John... 20 or 30 times a day? That sounds like a lot, make sure you don't wear out your gums! I think you should only be using it once or twice a day or after main meals ideally. Take care.
Hi yes I’ve had it about 5 month now and have told the dentist who has seen me three times in that period and says it is fine and my mouth and gums are now looking perfect, and a lot better than when I was only brushing with an electric toothbrush once a day. I’m 73 and had suddenly started getting more cavities than I had been which he said was because I had not been cleaning effectively

Thank you for a very good review! I am now considering getting one for myself. One question though... Is this device waterproof, would I be able to use it while showering? 2:40 I think that they provide additional tips for other members of the family, that's why each tip has a different color ring on the bottom.
Hello, yes most of the water flossers are rated as "IPX7 Waterproof", which means it could in theory it could be submerged up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes
The best one I've tested and owned is the one in this video. They come under lots of generic brand names. The detachable tank underneath is really easy to clean. Better than the ones where the tank is half the handle as well as those are not so easy to fill up and clean. One like this is a good bet: www.amazon.co.uk/Cordless-Water-Flosser-Waterproof-Rechargeable/dp/B08DD7SSHS/
These things are surprisingly powerful from just a small device with a USB charger. Mine is 21watt and it said it goes from 40psi to 140psi! I'm still on setting 1 and it hurts, although I am recovering from gingivitis. I am the same with oaty cereal with lots of hard bits. I love it, but it doesn't love my teeth and brushing never gets it all out and I have to use interdental brushes and floss picks. This is a game changer since I bought one. Warm water is a must though, as cold water seems to hurt. I do this before brushing and so much food comes out into the sink!
Great comment, really sums up the experience of using one of these. I agree I think if you have sensitive teeth it can be a bit too much. Hopefully when you overcome your gingivitis it will stop hurting.
@@BenPaton81 Thanks. after the weekend my gums feel a lot better and I'm able to go up to setting 2 and 3 now. I like the massaging sensation against the gums and I often use this after oaty cereal to get all the crap out of my mouth.
It worked for one week then it started on by itself randomly and couldn't get it to stop...i got it to stop by touching the two metalic parts from where it charges and about 2 days it started on again in the middle of the night..i got so scared..has a powerful jet and a big reservoir of water... to bad I'd didn't last.
Massive waste of money. They are nowhere near as effective as interdental brushes. Using a water flosser on your teeth is about as effective as cleaning your bath with a quick shower.
Hello, you just twist it to the side and it unclicks. It's very easy, you just have to make sure you put it back on the same way as it's not quite the same shape on each side but will go on back to front but then not fit quite right.
I live in a hard water area and I've not noticed it getting clogged. It does get scaly, if it gets clogged I reckon you could use citric acid to clean it out.
I recently purchased the exact model you used in the video. It's a good water pik. Thanks for the tip in putting a little mouthwash in the reservoir its a time saver in the morning.
I was looking for the charging socket and couldn't find it, until you removed that rubber bit. I thought they send me the wrong cable and almost return it hahahaha. Thank you
I've reviewed another oclean model. There models are very well made, they're a bit like the Apple of the water flosser world, they use a puff of water and air mixed together. Interesting technology I wouldn't say better or worse just a different approach.
Cant go wrong with the off brands sold on Amazon. I paid $39.00 taxes in for a stationary water flosser. I had a portable name brand waterpik flosser and it was great but I didnt like how little of water it held and I paid double price compared to the one I have now. Waterflossers are great, gives your teeth a really good clean.
I usually water floss anywhere from 3-5 seconds per teeth before I move on to the other one. You need to concentrate on the teeth gum pockets to make sure you get the crap out of there. If you just move it around quickly you're just getting the surface particulates off

Loved your video
Thank you!!
This is so helpful! Just had the same problem of the water spraying everywhere 😂
Glad it was helpful!
Brushing must be the final part of cleaning after the flossing otherwise you wash away the protective layer of tooth paste
Thanks yeah you've not the first person to say this but it makes sense
Which is best brand? Please recommend
@@BenPaton81 thanks for replying
Thanks that was really helpful . Has been informative and I shall purchase one 😀
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this review!
My pleasure!
Awesome video..I bought my first water flosser yesterday and I only regret not getting one sooner.
Thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying the benefits of your water flosser
It worked for one week then it started on by itself randomly and couldn't get it to stop...i got it to stop by touching the two metalic parts from where it charges and about 2 days it started on again in the middle of the night..i got so scared..has a powerful jet and a big reservoir of water... to bad I'd didn't last.
Oh dear sorry to hear this sounds like yours was really defective, hope you got your money back
You’ve sold me 😂
Great :)
God bless you for sharing.
Thank you!
Massive waste of money. They are nowhere near as effective as interdental brushes. Using a water flosser on your teeth is about as effective as cleaning your bath with a quick shower.
I disagree I find them more effective at getting everything
Thanks. I just soaked my bathroom and dressing gown, should have found your video first.
Lol
As a compulsive fact checker I must point out that your teeth don’t bleed , it’s your gums that bleed !
Thank you you are not the first to point that out. Of course I meant my gums.
how to remove the reservoir?
Hello, you just twist it to the side and it unclicks. It's very easy, you just have to make sure you put it back on the same way as it's not quite the same shape on each side but will go on back to front but then not fit quite right.
After all this time of using it, does it ever get clogged? since it's a normal tap water you would get build ups of calcium inside the device
I live in a hard water area and I've not noticed it getting clogged. It does get scaly, if it gets clogged I reckon you could use citric acid to clean it out.
I would waterfloss first, then toothbrush and not rinse out the fluoride
Interesting, I've never thought that fluoride lingers on your teeth after brushing
I think potentially it's your gums that bleed not your teeth. ;)
Yes you are right, not sure why I said teeth
"Makes my teeth bleed" 😂
Lol your not the only one to bring this up, I meant gums!
@@BenPaton81 I know lol. Just made me laugh 😂
Thank you!!! Much appreciated.
You're welcome!
Mate. Maybe is the mic but that sounds very loud. I am an early bird but I don't want to wake up the whole house.
Thanks for the feedback
Good info, it's not a silly video just about u, as many are! It's told me all I need to know, thank you 😊
I didn't mean your videos I ment other people, hope u get what I mean, like yours!
Thank you Rebecca I appreciate your comment, I get what you mean. Glad you found the video useful!
Absolutely brilliant review, thorough, fun and excellent !
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
I recently purchased the exact model you used in the video. It's a good water pik. Thanks for the tip in putting a little mouthwash in the reservoir its a time saver in the morning.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you find this a good model.
This was great. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was looking for the charging socket and couldn't find it, until you removed that rubber bit. I thought they send me the wrong cable and almost return it hahahaha. Thank you
I'm glad my video helped you find it!
Thanks sir, Informative, practical and not too long
You are welcome, glad it was helpful!
such a professional review and literally from a normal user POV
Thank you =)
A better test would have been to use the water flosser first and then see if you can get anything more out with regular floss.
Hey good idea
Why pay full price for the it when you can save big on Monocashback?
Or wish?
Very good video. I just got one today and you verified that I’m using it right. 😁👍🏼
Great to hear!
Sorry to hear your teeth tend to bleed . I find my gums sometimes bleed gosh if my teeth were to bleed as well I would throw the towel in .
I meant by gums were bleeding! Not sure why I said teeth.
You were a big help! Ive got the same brand in black from Walmart, and couldn’t figure out how to detach the water tank - thank you!!!!! 😜
Glad my video helped!
Good job
Thanks, I tried!

These water flosser are interesting. I've been researching about the Oclean W10 Flosser, and I was hoping you could make a review about it.
I've reviewed another oclean model. There models are very well made, they're a bit like the Apple of the water flosser world, they use a puff of water and air mixed together. Interesting technology I wouldn't say better or worse just a different approach.
Thnx!
No problem!
Can you replace the battery by yourself or do you have to send it to the company for service?
I don't think the battery's are meant to be user serviceable unfortunately which is not very environmentally friendly
Rubber doo dah…love it! We brits are the best!
The best!
Thats not a extra filling hole, thats to drain the water out
Thanks for pointing that out
The first time I used my waterpik, a half eaten cheese burger came out.
Lol, did you then finish it?
Cant go wrong with the off brands sold on Amazon. I paid $39.00 taxes in for a stationary water flosser. I had a portable name brand waterpik flosser and it was great but I didnt like how little of water it held and I paid double price compared to the one I have now.
Waterflossers are great, gives your teeth a really good clean.
Totally agree!
Is the new one as good as the Waterpik was?
@@buzdug even better.
I usually water floss anywhere from 3-5 seconds per teeth before I move on to the other one. You need to concentrate on the teeth gum pockets to make sure you get the crap out of there. If you just move it around quickly you're just getting the surface particulates off
Good tip, thanks!
