The first 10 minutes might be my favorite so far. The facial expressions alone were gold.
I found The Drop during a break from running (random anterior tibialis strain) and listened to the podcast while doing my engineering homework. Today was the first day I listened while running and I got a big stupid smile when I heard the first check-in. Check-ins hit harder when you're running rather than solving circuit diagrams. I signed up for GRIT today too- I'm so excited!
Watching the Drop on TV has been a little Friday routine for me now. The difference is this morning I was joined by little baby Noah. What a lovely surprise to hear the shoutout to welcome little guy to this world. You guys are absolutely right - Mom is the champ among us three. Giving birth makes running marathon look easy. Also can’t wait to bring Noah to the shakeout runs and many many Turkey trots.
Thomas I’d love to take on that Top Golf invite. Fun fact I actually proposed to my wife at Top Golf. But that’s another story for another time.

To make sure I didn’t have to wait in huge lines I took the first shuttle at 5 am. Got through security fast. They made folks dump out any “open” water containers/bottles/hydration vests.

Security in Philly was nuts, pretty annoying they made you dump any bottles that werent factory sealed. Luckily I saw this on their insta and brought a sealed water bottle and smuggled my skratch in a ziplock bag in my waist band like a young Nino Brown😂
