You sir are what I call "a spreader of peace". I love the fluidity, grace and taste in every note you play. Plus your tone/mic combo is perfect. Anything different is not a shift up, but sideways.
Unfortunately I think he'd have to get copyright licenses for all of his cover songs though, which of course costs more money than he'd likely make on Spotify. On the other hand, if you check RUclips Music, he might be on there.
@@bveracka the copyright wouldn't cost much. using DistroKid he would be looking at around a $3 per cover song per year charge to upload his "copyright" music to all streaming platforms and Distrokid would distribute the copyright costs from the $3. no money taken from the stream/listen monetization unless it got top chart streams and even then they only take a small percentage off that number. this has been my experience at least
I shed a tear at 4am listening to this. My father was an excellent guitarist and a huge CSN fan and I can imagine him playing the acoustic part on his old Guild. Your rendition, production and tones are amazing. Very beautiful.
Doug Alexander ...Their Deja vu album got me to California on a car trip one weekend. But I gotta say. This guy playing this lap steel is nasty good! I’m wondering what exactly that little tremolo bar does. It sounds like it lowers the pitch?! I was also amazed that he wasn’t using finger picks and still got that sound.
I was falling through the RUclips rabbit hole, you know like you do, and just clicked on this not knowing who it was. As soon as I heard it, I knew it had to be Luke. Schöne Musik, mein Freund!
in one word . YES ! :The way he plays the slide guitar is pure magic and performed so skillful it sounds easy effortless- the haunting sound of his slide guitar carries a lot of emotion. This is real musicianship .So happy I found his channel and i'm always looking forward to a new vid from him
hardly know what to add here that hasn't been said , im 72 been playing music all my life..just discovered you and im obsessed ..dammit man youre amazing..:)
You’ve inspired to pick up the lapsteel. Here’s to the journey ahead. Thank you my guy, my band and I will be playing some major festivals next year including john Hartford and maybe I’ll have my morrell ready by then in good standing for a smooth solo. One day however, a Duesenberg will lay at my lap.
GReat rendition I love your fluidity specially on the slants which are surely challenging. It's really beautiful and I agree with you this song is awesome specially teh vocal harmonies as usual with CSN&Y
Rainy morning after some very sad news, but listening to this beautiful music gives me hope that things will be better…
Thank you.
Not if you really listen to the words

A lifetime ago, CSN kept me company late at night into early morning on the road from Texas back to Springfield with a couple pillow cases full...

@@DennisAnthonis it bends the strings like a normal guitarist would bend his strings
bling bling boy No. They (there’s two) bend the strings like the pedals on a pedal steel guitar bend the strings.
@@jacksonweinberg3544 Why would you say that?
