His entire 2 timelord makes a rank 10 xyz monster idea is moot as Time Maiden's effect is the easiest way to get 2 timelords on the board. Unless you play celestial transformation (situational) or infinite light (Good luck).
A monster that came into mind at the beginning of the video was Crimson Nova Trinity the Dark Cubic Lord, granted the summoning condition is kinda bad compared to the cards mentioned on this list but I just like the effect of it where if you attack with this card, you halve your opponent's life points.

@@MrZahsome It's so good in Duel Links because what it offers is often an instant-win, a 4500 attack monsters that destroys all cards on summon is kind of dumb in a 4000 lifepoint format; my favorite deck right now is Magician Girl stall where you stall for like 2 turns and then summon one, he usually comes out fast and then you just win, with no Drowning Mirror Forces or Wall of Disruptions ruining your day.

Agreed I made the same point in my comment it's just unfortunate that King Tiger Waghu does its job better especially if supported by atk lowering cards :/
Slifer was the least played God card by far and I don’t really know why. It’s a pretty ridiculously good floodgate in a deck that can bring it out with a negate (even with 0 attack)
Number 77 the seven sin spider was a pretty fun card to play and the other spiders you use to make him had decent effects too. They were also an outside option for rank 8 to rank 10 decks.
It's not exactly that its hard to summon, it's that it doesn't make sense to use 3 blue eyes and a fusion spell to bring out a non effect monster, you lose 4 cards to get one that doesn't do anything
I'm going to show my age, but I remember Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon being part of one of the earliest OTKs with Magical Scientist and Catapult Turtle. Lost my fair share of duels because of that damn combo
I think that Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon is pretty good. It’s a rank 8, with 4k atk. It can detach a material during damage calculation to gain 200 atk for each xyz rank on the field. So on its own it’s already at 5600
2:45 So I'm wondering about malefic cyber end dragon. Technically, based on my reading of his effect you could special summon him without a field spell present, it would just be immediately destroyed by it's own effect and sent to the graveyard. I don't know of any off the top of my head, but could there be some incredibly niche play where you intentionally graveyard your malefic? I doubt it would be a good play by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe there are some weird combo cards that would benefit from you voluntarily dumping a 4000 ATK monster at any time. It's just a one card voluntary discard at that point, and that's not an effect I've seen a lot of. Could be a cool archetype down the road, similar to dark world where they kick off interesting effects if their summon is negated or they are destroyed at the same time/chain as their summon, with each card having a different circumstance for self destruction that the player can rreasonably control, such that they have the utility of playing the monsters regularly where they have an on field effect, or as pseudo hand traps with their graveyard effect activating based on a built in quick effect special summon that immediately graveyards the card for their effect.
With the addition of deep of blue eyes you can easily get chaos max on the field but additionally if you get chaos on the field you can force the opponents cards into defence position and make their defence zero
I would have included Chaos Ancient Gear Giant myself. It gave the archetype access to an absurdly powerful monster that could be summoned off a topdecked Overload Fusion if need be.
You forgot to mention if you got Shooting Star Dragon with Quasar floating effect, Shooting Star Dragon would not come back after banishing itself to negate 1 attack. Also I'm surprised Blazar isn't there

Here’s a couple suggestions: Top best “Infernity Barrier” like cards since there are now so many in the game, worst counter traps that negate effects, best Nomi cards (which really isn’t any since they all are clunky and not worth summoning) the best being maybe the LV monsters, and best/worst draw engines not including single-generic draw cards
Talking about how matches only last like 5 rounds is crazy. I played back in the early 2000s haven’t thought about yugioh since the last month or so when I’ve been watching your videos for fun. Crazy just how much everything has changed
hey duellogs have you considered making a gimmick deck where the wincon is "with no monsters left on the field i summon dark magician and attack for game" like is there a way to make that semiconsistant
If you meant just no monsters on both players field, it can be easily achieved just by Eternal Souls and Magician's Navigation. With no Monsters on the field, you literally summon 3 Dark Magicians to attack for game (play 1 Dark Magic Expanding for enough damage).
Its weird how alot of these monsters didn't have the "Divine-Beast" Type or "DIVINE" attribute considering their effects are far superior to not only the Legal God Cards, but even have effects that are better than the Anime and Manga versions.
@@LEC1857-6inFinalsGotReverseSwe The Time Lord series alone is stronger than god cards in terms of destruction immunity. God cards in the anime and manga can still be killed in battle by other monsters if the attack is high enough. The Time Lords also have solid attack stats compared to Silfer and Ra whose stats are heavily dependent on using resources. Slifer can be weakened if you deplete your opponents hand and Ra is useless if you keep your opponent from gaining life points and make sure your opponent has only weak monsters to use to add to Ra's stats. When it comes down do it, Ra is only good for depleting monsters and life points and Slifer works beast as field control for keeping weaker monsters off the board with its -2000 def depletion effect. Even in the anime, Obelisk is still a solid choice over the other Gods, even if you don't use it's field wipe ability, its still a good wall with most opponents will have trouble getting rid off if they can't get a big monster on the filed, or if they aren't prepared.
@@LEC1857-6inFinalsGotReverseSwe Both Beelze dragon cards. Neither can be destroyed by any pure destruction effect, nor by battle. These two are completely immune to, and rather counter the God cards face-to-face. Things like the Stardust or Hotred series tend to to have vastly superior lockdown abilities on top of being able to resurrect themselves and having high stats as well. Ancient Gear Chaos Giant is mostly better than the God cards as well, and actually feels more like how the God cards want to behave. There are many more, but these are the ones that stand out to me.
Always love these videos, which is why I’ll say that I believe you should’ve at least mentioned ZARC. He’s a truly powerful monster (albeit hard to summon). I feel like despite his difficult summoning conditions he should’ve been an honorable mention seeing as he wipes the field when summoned and when he destroys a monster by battle you can Special Summon 1 “Supreme King Dragon” monster from your Deck or Extra Deck, allowing for yet another attack that could potentially end the game on the turn he’s summoned
Quintet Magician is great, and can be easily brought out with Magicalized Fusion. On top of that, the only monster that I know that is invulnerable to Kaijus.
Kinda surprised I didn't see a Chaos Ancient Gear Giant somewhere on this list, even on the lower side. It's a huge attack monster which is absurdly easy to both bring out with Ancient Gear Fusion, and support consistently with other material of its archetype. And it also has an incredible protection from spell and traps, and a blanket effect during battle, restricting floating effects of what it kills, and it can attack everything the opponent has. But still a good list.

You kidding me Slifer control is solid stuff man a lot of decks don't have 2000 atk main deck monsters, but King Tiger Wanghu just does its job better 😅 Great list man! I'd love to see top ten best/worst Reptile and Rock type monsters lists.
what about Cloudian Nimbusman? it has the potential to reach far over 100,000 atk, way back in the day I used a stacked Nimbusman to smash through a Five Headed Dragon for a one attack kill.
Rainbow neos should’ve definitely made this list but anyways i think a cool list would be top one turn use monsters for ex: Some timelords, Ra the immortal Phoenix, the majestic dragons etc…
@@clonemaster813 to be fair Chaos Giant was meant to be a game ender. He wasn't really meant to have much field presence for the next turn. As a person who plays ancient gears I have to say I put a lot of my opponents it's a really tight spaces when Chaos giant was summoned. If they didn't have a card that could stop it GG.
Awesome machine apart of my favourite archtype, but, vastly more difficult to bring out compared to the listed monsters, and being a combo ender itself, doesn't offer as much pressure as these listed monsters in their combos. You need to lose 4 ancient gears, and a fusing card minimum to bring it out. These listed cards need maybe 2-4 total cards, while bringing to the table potentially more monsters on the field, or resolving even more effects. If, Ancient Gears has as many cards, and as many useful cards in their archtype as Blue-Eyes, then, Ancient Gear Chaos Giant would easily beat Blue Eyes MAX Dragon, I'd say.
Eh? but if shooting star dragon is cheated out from extra deck using shooting quasar dragon effect, then it negate a attack with it's effect, it won't return back to the field during the end phase it negate a attack because it was not brought out properly from extra deck, this is same case with stardust dragon that cheated out with starlight road if it use it's effect to negate a card destruction, it won't special summon itself from the grave during the end phase.
It's like he said, the duel won't last long anyway so a negate from quasar n force it to leave ie WL Clash or something to summon SSD for one more negate that turn, it's still pretty big effect
WRONG! The rulebook states that an improperly summoned extra deck monster can still be special summoned from the graveyard by it's OWN card effect. It is the OTHER card effects like "Monster Reborn" and the like that can't be used. Am I the only person on Earth who read the rulebook for this game?
I play the game by a STRICT interpretation of the rules. The rulebook clearly says it cannot be special summoned by ANOTHER card's effect, therefore, excluding it's OWN as one that doesn't work. This is one of the reasons why I refuse to play in tournaments anymore because even the judges keep making up their own rules instead of following the ACTUAL rulebook that comes with the game.
Number 27 xyzs monster (forgot rest of name) is a 2200 atk monster and it’s ability is if this card destroyed a opponents monster than you can summon a rank 10 or higher xyzs monster from your extra deck using this card as a material to xyzs summon during your end phase so depending on the situation you could use this card summon super dreadnuaght max then you could go into Libre or not depending on your situation.
Okay...I have a few potential list ideas: 1. Top 10 monsters with a ? in their stats. 2. Top 10 biggest errata nerfs. 3. Top 10 longest time between release and play (basically, top 10 longest sleepers) And 4. Top 10 best Garnets...basically, the least bad "bad" cards to draw that you wish would stay in your deck.
For those that know or remember Yugioh Online awhile back, Gunslinger events were going crazy when BEUD was the prize card, especially when Cyber Stein was out. There were a TON of players trying to OTK with that deck. It was an annoying and frustrating deck to overcome at that time, until Ben Kei showed up. The online game was extremely broken, and the black market of selling cards made the game extinct, in my opinion.
Playing casual is not a sin my man, and honestly casual play is in my opinion much more enjoyable than competitive. In competitive play, everyone uses a few same decks that are best at that time, playing solitaire with themselves, wining in literally 2 to 3 turns, not even battling anymore. It's kinda annoying, and honestly i don't see anything enjoyable about that. If you wish to enjoy duels, stick to casual.
Too hard to bring out from any deck that isn't Ancient Gear. I love Ancient Gears, as they're my favourite archtype, but I must acknowledge that it's not often played, and there aren't many variations of the deck compared to the more meta and more consistent decks
Obelisk saw competitive play. BEUD currently sees competitive play. Chaos Giant does not, not has it. The very nature of a top 10 means I put on the best of cards and Ancient Gears rarely make it. I do like Ancient Gears though.
@@TheDuelLogs Then why did you include Link God Dragon, a card that isn't even out yet and is objectively gimmicky. The effect and 5K attack may be nice, but the maintenance cost is asinine and completely unnecessary, which brings the card down to, like I said, gimmick zone.
Konami made Links, really because they were ashamed of how broken Pendulums got. But instead of doing an actually sensible decision (I mean, Konami isn't particularly known for making those) by making Pendulums go to the grave instead of the fucking Extra Deck, keeping the spell/trap zone rule, and *limiting special summoning for gods sake,* they make an EXTREMELY gimmicky mechanic; further fucking up the game by forcing you to throw in these things, and basically trying to turn Yu-Gi-Oh into this Extra-Link King of the Hill style bullshit (and you're right, it's fucking terrible). It certainly doesn't help that Links created big ruling issues with them having no level, along with no defense points. And it's primarily because Konami can't figure out a way to sell their cards for this honestly dying game.
@@anayos6726 I read somewhere that the main reason for introducing Links was actually Xyz. Also, they couldn't change the way a mechanic works, so they had to limit it's abuse. Of course now Links are being abused even more that Xyz and Pendulums.
@@RheaMainz Pendulums are only limited to how many cards you have in your hand for Pendulum summon and which are in the Extra Deck. And they were mostly used for material. Pendulum's can easily be countered by destroying one Pendulum Scale. I talked to other people and they also said that Pendulums weren't as broken as some people like to think they are. Hell, the best decks around that time weren't even Pendulum Decks. Pendulum isn't really that good of a mechanic. It's just that some archetypes like Performapals are built around it to take advantge of it, making the mechanic seem more broken than it really is.

They were gonna have to drop the "Osiris" from the name anyway, because it was feared people would consider it "demonic" in America...because extremist parents had way too much power over American media in 2002.

Slifer will be removed from the field with anything before your opponent commits a summon. Mind Control, Impermanence, Pankratops...
Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, as well as any fusion monster, would be hard to bring out IF you had to have the monsters required to be on the field only.

*Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is only number 8*
You're a third-rate duelist, with a fourth-rate deck!
I think that Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon is pretty good. It’s a rank 8, with 4k atk. It can detach a material during damage calculation to gain 200 atk for each xyz rank on the field. So on its own it’s already at 5600
not me who plays it and uses afterglows effect to increase its attack to 11k and one turn kill my opponent :)
2:45
So I'm wondering about malefic cyber end dragon.

Because Konami is an inconsistent company.
None of these cards are stronger than God cards (anime versions) . 🤔🤔

If it did last long, it could still leave a pretty heavy dent.

Me: *sees the first card and its explanation for being on the list*
Ironic, the gods of the game required a God of the game to help them win.
I still use Obelisk as part of my main deck. Granted I’m nowhere near competitive, but I’ve always found them to be so cool.
Do it again, but with the worst monsters with more than 4000 ATK.
You forgot about Chaos Ancient Gear Giant... One of the craziest effects on monsters EVER ! ! !
Too hard to bring out from any deck that isn't Ancient Gear. I love Ancient Gears, as they're my favourite archtype, but I must acknowledge that it's not often played, and there aren't many variations of the deck compared to the more meta and more consistent decks
Why are you so adamant on NOT including any Ancient Gear cards in your tops? Chaos Giant could've been featured here instead of Obelisk or BEUD.

Links ruined the game, no cap
@@nexusshark It seems to me links are equal to pendulums in terms of being broken, given just how many cards you can spawn with pendulums.
