I don't think so, not with just redstone. A comparator only tests for the number of books in it. Command blocks could probably test for what's where, but not what's what. So maybe not even those unless the exact right books are used.

Comparator? No.
It's actually super mind-blowing how the Among Us meme has been around there for a long time but it still isn't dead yet, no matter where you go you always see it.

Hope your covids getting better soon. I, too, had covid for a week about a month ago, but it wasn't that bad. I could still taste stuff, I just had a blocked nose and coughing but that was it. You can do it, too, we believe in you, Phoenix!

Did you know that in the official Minecraft book for fights, they tell us Multishot is a bow (and only bow) enchant? There is also crossbow enchants, but apparently, Multishot isn't.

@@sycani Apparently???? Al I know is that in a snapshot joke you could have crossbow multishot have levels and it was fantastic. Firing 10 shots was amazing and that feature needs porting to every version.

The way the comparator output worked (measuring the last slot interacted with rather than the amount of books inside) had me convinced this was how they were always planning to do it from the start, it just took them a while to fully implement it. Very cool change.

more than just a meme, this is actually a pretty great QOL thing. being able to select a book to remove actually makes this way more viable than if you have to get every single one out to find the specific one you're looking for. But also amogus funny haha.

Now we need to be able to color those books. Maybe by holding a dye and right clicking while looking at a specific book.
what's fun about these is that not only do comparitors output based on the Last interacted position (and NOT relevant to total books inside), but also the fact that hoppers both fill from 1 to 6, and then take them out 1 to 6...meaning that using a hopper to put them all in will provide the same comparitor outputs as one taking them all out
I swear, there's always a way to use new features for redstone in a way that has its own purpose unique from other redstone things and it's great

Last week when we went to the supermarket, my son pointed to a red trash can and started jumping around screaming “THAT’S AMONG US! THAT TRASH CAN IS SUS! RED IS THE IMPOSTOR!” As soon as he did that, the manager told us to leave. I told him that my son is just excited about something, and apologised. since hoppers can fill and empty bookshelves, with some careful timing could you use redstone to draw on the bookshelves for you?? i think it's similar to how gnembon's auto crafting machine (which uses a mod but i mean the redstone logic)
With a slight texture pack change and some hardcore coding this could make an rgb screen!

Is it possible to add/remove books in bookshelves using commands? Or setblock the chiseled bookshelf with a book in a specific slot using command? If so, then that can be very cool. You can even create animation with it, it wouldn't be very good ofc but pretty cool
