- Many years after the reign of Caesar, a young ape goes on a journey that will lead him to question everything he's been taught about the past and make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is the fourth installment in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise, but is it worth the watch? Thanks for checking out my Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) Movie Review!

I have enjoyed all of them from 1968 - now looking forward to
Your going to love this, as a huge fan of all, especially the 68...this movie kills it. Just listen to the score.
I kept waiting for the shoe to drop… 😂😂😂. And then it kind of does, but it is very subtle…
I enjoyed the Maze Runner franchise, overall. But definitely, each successive one buckled under its own weight, and I felt the same for the Ape movies. The first one is probably my favorite.
Thought you had said "Kevin Durant " forner Celtics player, then I googled and was like 😂😂 ohh Kevin Durand my OG
Hahaha, I may have mumbled a bit. Sorry for that confusion!
Kind of felt like a maze runner ending lol
Kevin Durand’s Proximus seemed like he was huffing paint rather than reading books. I felt a little bit of slowness in parts, & Noah kinda pissed me off
I can’t wait to see this!! I loved Caesar!!😢
This movie was magnificent!!
Well put. Excited to see this.
Dude...dude....Just got out of the theater......dude.....that movie was fantastic. I wish you could get into spoilers because, I thought every character was intresting and play a role in the plot well. Proximus was a huge surprise, I thought it was going to be like Godzilla x Kong villian, he was not. This honored the first trilogy extraordinarily well. I was in it. Two things
Important
Shit
Hahahahaha! Dude, the "shit" sequence was so funny! So glad you had a great time with this. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.
@@MoviesAndMunchies Already bought tickets for today. Listen to the score, great sequences touching on the 68 score. Old 60s Sci fi.
@@chrisretzlaff2895 I was enamored with the score and need to add it to my Spotify!
I like how step back and cool you are when reviewing! Can't wait to see this movie this weekend! Wes Ball is underrated and with this and Zelda coming next, i think he will begin to get more recognition. He is talented!
I concur about production values, the excellent CGI and well-rendered action scenes; but, as you elude to the vagueness in the plot, it gets accentuated upon the arrival of the Ape compound; questions begin to emanate; why does Proximus need slaves? What are they needed to do? Pull down a big door? Proximus' wishes to access technology he believes is behind the door---but what does he expect to find & how to harness it? Then questions arise surrounding Mae. Don't wish to do spoilers, but if she she is not a simple feral animal, what does she need Noa in the first place? A Pandora's Box of questions arose; I am not dismissing the film but the lack of backstories and plot holes really undercut the film. A fair popcorn muncher. Better luck with the sequel! 🙂
I absolutely love your reviews! I find myself watching movies that make your cut.
I'm so glad they help!!
Since the Kingdom trailer, I'd helped myself to see the Rise trilogy even as recommended and I've been having a blast with them.
Only got War and than I get into this one.
Sweet! The trilogy is SO good!
Thnx for sharing.
Awesome
movie was just so so , long and boring at times!!! even the 1968 one was better!!!
Even?! The original is the best of all time lol
Great review!
Thanks!
@@MoviesAndMunchies keep it up!
Not a fan, too much monkey business for my sensibilities!
My God! you are funny!
Hahahaha!! 🙈🙉🙊🐒🦍
