I agree: any cable company can charge between 70 and $100 a month for service, that usually happens every day RUclips TV we’re supposed to be away so that people could get the services that cable provides at a lower cost. I believe they ended up setting the price at $35 per month. Then we find out two or three months later that the price is not sustainable and they need to raise the rates. So now we have RUclips TV , and it’s as expensive as cable is, and you don’t even have cable in the house. I talked to SPECTRUM the other day for example: they say that all the boxes and all of the extras is what is causing this to be higher priced. I have one box in my living room and I have a zoom box in my bedroom and I have the highest Internet speed you can get For residential. And I’m still paying $220a month. My question is when are these people that are providing the streaming services going to realize that streaming is supposed to be cheaper than regular cable? This has not been realized yet, and RUclips TV continues to change things and continues to raise the price, so you might as well not even have RUclips TV at all, because it is the same price as my $220 cable bill per month if they keep doing what they’re doing . The idea of a Roku device or Amazon or another type of device that can stream content off the Internet is so that you don’t have to pay that incredible price. I have to think that I won’t because of the fact that it is getting so expensive. I’d rather have my Roku stick maybe a few channels that I like rather than pay $200 for cable service. Cable service should not cost $200 a month for somebody on a fixed income that is totally ridiculous, yet , these places are to continue to charge all these stupid fees and no one will step in and stop this Then we have the program the affordability connectivity program is supposed to help people by taking $30 off of their Internet cost, which means that they would take $30 off of my bill. The problem is is that is gone because no one re-authorized it yet and it still , being fooled around with in Congress When cable companies realize that the only reason that these prices are going up is because of competition or they think they’re doing us a service by raising the prices. I understand the fact that you have to be able to be competitive, but 25 or $30 of my cable bill is mostly taxes and fees. If I was to pay only what I wanted, I could cut that bill down at least $110 but they’re going to say it’s for service and service and six dollars for this service and four dollars for that service, when you get done, adding up all this nonsense, you end up with, an outrageous bill I can’t wait for somebody to start regulating the cable industry to the point where a person on a fixed income isn’t paying almost a3 of their income for TV service.
Re: RUclips TV, I wish the sports channels could be placed in a separate package instead of everyone being forced to pay for them. I think I recall that they are some of the most expensive contracts and I only watch those channels once or twice a year. Periodic buffering can be annoying. I don't have that issue on Netflix, Amazon Prime or Max and have 1 Gb Internet service.
It would help to have numbers assigned to channels to allow for selecting a number to get to channel than having to scan down the menu. Those who have complained about price, we had Directv for 25+ years and You Tube costs about a third of what we paid for Directv with basically all the same channels. I would like to see local sports which is not provided - we get the Chicago Sports Channels but don’t live there.
Make content where it can be deleted on the DVR after they have been watched if the subscriber prefers to do that. Would really clean up the customers DVR library.
The reason we're still w/ YT programming IS their MultiView & increasing features like customizable view. Related AND as important is MultiView's quick audio switch over (no lag). We/they need MORE 4K options-we tried their limited 4K pkg but wasn't worth the additional costs. We praise & subscribe to streamers with top quality 4K programming. Note, 1080P Enhanced is good & frankly the minimum rez they should be providing. The streaming service is getting better over last 12+ mos.👍🏻
On the DVR I wish they would give us the option to record. Only the new episodes instead of the whole season especially for elderly people. It’s too hard for them but the price I think is excellent. I’m paying $250 right now for Comcast and have nothing.
Create a Picture & Picture option for all stations...or at least sports channels. The PIP would feature would allow to quickly swap the two pictures and produce sound from the larger picture.
The tubes are commercially good for sports, but some of us use them as educational tools like art and art history. Been following this channel for a long time and love to find ways to get information for free. The airwaves used to be free but now almost everything is behind a paywall. Love some feedback on how to improve free communication.
I actually want less channels, infact I would prefer to choose the channels I want like they do across the pond. Who actually watches all this crap? Those Viacom channels that jacked the prices up, completely useless, never watch. And when they add more channels the image quality seems to get lower across the board. They upsell 4k but they need to work on 1080p first. Compare any of the content to an 18 year old blu ray and you'll see how crap the image quality is.
A lot of us is happy for Toonami Rewind, but starting at 5pm... I don't get home until like 6:30pm. Grew up since Toonami came out Day 1 with Moltar. Sucks they're also showing DBZ Kai; but most people thinks it's because of license issues.
