All the streaming services that are bundling, which is just another version of cable television, just goes to show that these people don’t get it! The only thing that’s really changing. Here is the delivery system. It’s going from a cable that goes into your house to the Internet. We’re still not getting a truly à la cart menu. We still have to buy and pay for stuff that we don’t want.
Difference is that there no ads and you're not forced into signing a contract. Still much better than cable

having paramount plus merge with max might be a good thing for many consumers,
it seems like that paramount could benefit from being added to Max
and its not surprising considering that there are shows and movies that people enjoy

I was thinking Paramount Max but I can get behind this as well.
I thought Max was going to merge with Hulu and Disney+ this summer. 🤔
Both have content that I'm interested in so this might be a good thing. Even still I'm unlikely to be subscribed to such a service on a regular basis. The best route all these movie studios can go is licensing all their content for Netflix and/or Hulu and be done with it.

ION is #5 plus it's Katz digets like Bounce make it a powerhouse potential more valuable than FOX.
With cord cutting the networks need to hand out free antennas in a cool shape to supplement streaming
I have max through cricket wireless so I hope max if they join with paramount they keep the streaming services separate
Streaming services are too volatile. Hard to tell from month to month what is offered by many services. Merge? Have them all merge into one service...and we are back to where we started only without cable and satellite.
They should all license their content for Netflix and/or Hulu.
I would want to see Discovery and Science Channel... do the same....been watching Dust... Alien Nation.... very good.... now live Network tv next 😮

Bally Sports needs to end, but I paid for Fubo for the reason so I am hoping they make it to September before folding.
sound like a version of Hulu 2.0 so eventually we will have another joint venture between all the streaming services forming a sort of new version of Hulu
It'll probably all come down to a mega Hulu and Netflix as the two major competitors. If Apple buys Disney then perhaps it'll be three major networks.

Bring back Saturday morning cartoons on the 4 major networks.
Why? There’s plenty of places to get cartoons… plus the new METV Toons channel is awesome!
Because it's nice to have new cartoons .... as long as those cartoons aren't overly divisive. With that said Me TV toons is good and hopefully they'll add more content from the 90s and early 2000s.

That is interesting, Paramount was always linked to Viacom, always trying to promote Showtime. If they merge with max wonder what will happen with the viacom channels like Showtime?
Ugh. 3 commercial breaks before the 6 minute mark. Worse than commercial TV.
Also, if Paramount and Max merge....you gotta rename it Paramount Max. It was stupid to rename HBO Max to just Max....especially since that's the name of one of my in-laws lol
The "Max" name was stupid. No brand recognition. Just call it Paramount HBO or Paramount WB.

Warner Bros Discovery $100 million is primarily HBO subs that were 2 billion 5 years ago.
This is why, with no profit on the line, the company is willing to j/v with Paramount. Adding CBS will add 21.5 hrs a week of content. Critics are bashing CBS demos and non prestige TV tainting HBO; however, Paramount's low brow content thrives on Netflix w/ minor hit S.W.A.T. being top ten for months. Showtime offers good content and so does Tyler Sheridan various shows. Both streamers can reduce output saving money

Your RUclips channel shows an Amazon-promoted display on your channel." By the way there are several RUclips channels that teach basic English classes. You can learn about basic punctuation and spelling!
Personally, I hope Paramount and HBO Max both fail and send all their stuff back to Netflix. Paramount always keeps forgetting what I've watched, and HBO Max's user interface is horrible, after the rebrand. I never can find anything I'm looking for.
Hopefully they all shut down their individual streaming sites and move it all over to Netflix and/or Hulu.
