  • Steve Yanovsky (RN, Rt-R, EMT-P, CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL) explains the department of sterile processing in detail. Great for CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL.
If you want to understand the how's and the why's of sterile processing, this is a great place to start.

I took my exam today and passed, thanks to this awesome teacher. Can't say thank you enough!! My back story: currently applying to dental schools and doing uber but looking for a more stable job while in dental school, I randomly came across the sterile program on a RUclips shorts around Jan 23, I religiously listened to Mr Steve while driving uber, downloaded cheat sheets that I studied every single day for 2 weeks.
Didn't purchase any books, or bootcamps but my science background was very useful. You can totally study on your own if you are disciplined.

Usually, the last thing to do involves reviewing the circumstances behind the failure and preventing their recurrence. The list you provided ends with "etc" so I don't know what that means. I would say from your list that notifying the manager would be the last thing to do. The logic behind that is that the manager will contact the chief of surgery to deal with the clinical repercussions. Again, look at the policies and procedures of your department and go from there.
