I hope Jada has the license and actually makes all the characters from a game. I bought everything McFarlane made but they stopped after a handful and now I cant complete that game. I hope Jada starts with the newer more relevant MK1 then goes back and does the older stuff.

God I hope so. I have all 4 Street Fighter 2 releases (Dhalsim and M. Bison are out next month in the UK) and I would love a line of Mortal Kombat figures. You can get 3 from JadaToys for the price of one Storm Collectables. Not to mention the fact that they can churn out repaints quickly for the "ninjas" they only need to work on two unique figures per wave to save money.
Man I really hope they do. Jada Toys is killing it with street fighter and I would love classic retro mortal kombat characters

God I hope not, MK is trash, sticking with Capcom licenses would be vastly better. Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Strider. MK has been done to death, hopefully this stays just a "rambling".
I love my but I’d be so pissed to rebuy these characters in 6 inch scale but Jada giving us Capcom figures is what I want especially darkstalkers
I think if they can corner the market the way Storm Collectibles did at a fraction of the price, it’s a win/win for everyone. And since 6 inch scale is pretty universal, the storm collectibles figures never fit in the first place

TBH Mattel wouldn't be a bad choice to take over the MK toy license, especially with the way they're doing the Masters of the Universe lines. As much as I would love for Jada to get it, they should focus on Capcom IPs for now (maybe further down the line).
Mattel would be my 2nd choice. Imagine if Mattel did 5.5 inch figures of the classic trilogy cast. And then, they put out 6.5/7 inch scale figures that would focus on everyone from the 3D era to the modern NRS era, as well as ones from the various cartoons/movies/TV shows/comics.

Due to being owned by Warner Bros, I'm sure the license would cost significantly more, making prices rise, Mattel has a deeper pocket for now, plus they need something outside of MOTU and WWE. Plus, there's plenty of crossover potential with MOTU. I need Jada to stay focused on Capcom, lol. There are so many untapped designs just itching for a good figure! Street Fighter is just the tip of what could lie ahead!
I would for sure be buying if Jada toys picks up the mk license. Image them doing the classic mk1 or 2 characters
