If Jada has the Mortal Kombat license, I can guarantee it wouldn’t take them 10 years and still not give us a complete MK1 roster. Seriously in less than 2 years Jada has more than half the Street Fighter 2 roster either out or ready to go out.

I love my Storm figures, but I would be way happier if Jada gets the MK license, due to the size, & price. I wish Jada also had Tekken. PS: MCfarlane just acquired the UFC license. I can't wait to see what the figures are going to look like. UFC figures sales are always bad. :(
This would be a dream come true. Imagine a jada toys Mortal kombat vs street fighter crossover.
I would want to start with the roster from the first game. It's 7 playable characters, plus Reptile, Goro, and Shang Tsung. That's a roster of 10 so not bad at all.
It seems real but until we get some more details it’s just a dream…..for now.

Jada really shook the beehive with this teaser. Now they can't really go back. I thought that with the partnership they already have with Capcom, if there's any other license Jada were close to tackle was Darkstalkers. I really hope they make a great announcement in SDCC, I'm sure whatever it is, they would nail it!! Jada is on fire!!

My vote would be MK2 for Jada to do. Of course I prefer the bigger roster of 3, but thats a tall task to ask for if we want a complete set. Nothing sucks more than when companies start a line, team or whatever and dont finish it. Jada seems to be of the mind set of completion when considering what they're doing with SF2. So I think MK2 is a decent size roster with good variety and females which have been sorely needed. The only downside for me with the MK2 roster would be the exclusion of Sonya and Goro. Good video!

@@RichyFigs Why does everybody wants so much for MK figure lines to be based on classic trilogy? Classic ninjas all look same and it's boring to collect them. MK4 and MK9 are best MK games design-wise, doing justice to the classic designs, but making them original and unique instead of just plain recolors. Jada MK9 line would be perfect.

Aside from the MK license I would also REALLY love to see Jada do Resident Evil figures. I can't recall any RE action figures since the old ToyBiz days. RE1, RE2, RE3 would be all I need.
It’s been brought up to Juhn (Jada producer) in the past in live streams and it doesn’t seem like he has much enthusiasm towards RE.
@@RichyFigs yeah, I seen it brought up too. I recall him saying something along the lines of "its a difficult license to obtain". Not sure how into it he'd be personally, but I know the interest is there from the toy community and RE fans. So no doubt they'd have a winner, if they approach it with the same level of love as their Street Fighter line.
NECA did a line of figures based on the REmake, 4, 5, and they did one final figure from ORC before losing the license. The figures based on REmake and 4 weren't so much action figures as they were statues. The figures based on 5 and ORC actually had articulation.
The smart move to do would be to make figures from the newest game out while its fresh and everyone is talking about it and playing it. Everyone has their favorite version but what's most relevant right now.
I think that because the way they did street fighter they’d want to start with a more classic version of MK. But what your saying does make sense too.
Just no, MK1 has most boring and plain designs in the series for every character except Reptile. Nobody even talks about this game anymore, MK11 has bigger online on Steam than MK1.

I want Jada to start at MK2 and then gradually work their way up through each and every game. Finish MK1 and MK2 rosters, move on to UMK3 and release costumes from each and every game so we can have arcade era, 3D Era and Netherrealm era of games

Hopefully its true because I've been purchasing MK figures from various lines like jazz wares and mezco but im glad I didn't buy any of the storm collectables but sad others did lol there really expensive 😂

Yeah, same here. I bought the MK9 line from Jazwares, the MKX line from Mezco, and the MK11 line from McFarlane Toys. I never got any Storm Collectibles figures because they're way too expensive. It's a shame that no company can ever give us a full roster of characters. They always seem to lose the license after a couple of years.

I really REALLY hope Jada gets the chance to make Resident Evil action figures especially since theirs have been a huge lack of RE action figures aside from the very expensive 3rd party hot toys style figures.
For some reason when this is brought up to Juhn in livestreams he doesn’t seem to show interest in resident evil.
The Storm line is a failure. You're talking about a line that started back in 2017 (I think) and they are still missing a ton of characters. And they didn't even release the main character, Lui Kang, until last year. Combine that with the fact that many of their recent releases are structurally better than their early releases, and you get a line that is extremely inconsistent in aesthetic and quality. I'm glad I "cashed out" and sold the Storm MK characters years ago. There was no reason to believe the line would ever be completed. I feel bad for anyone who invested and are left hanging since they don't have the license and the line doesn't scale well with anything.

Yeah, the Ultimate MK3/MK Trilogy designs for the characters are my favorite from the classic 2D era.
Off topic from the sf and mk lines but i would honestly really love if Jada could somehow pick up a dc comics license. I’m not a McFarlane hater by any means but I would prefer he lose the license and hands it over to Jada they are absolutely killing it 😭
Yeah I just don’t know how they’d handle such a big license when they are so new. They might not have the man power yet.
@@RichyFigs that’s very true. I don’t expect them to pick up a big franchise/IP right off the bat but it would be amazing. There biggest set back as you said was not being a big enough company to produce and release as much as a company like hasbro or McFarlane but even then they have a release schedule that is very friendly toward collectors/completionist that I’m sure many people would love
