I've heard synthetics for hydro and organic for soil but for the first week my seedling bounced back after it's first feed with the Bio. Ty and great channel 👍

    Very nice 👌 my meter broke (and probably was off anyways because it was cheap, i just used out of the box and just stuck the cap on after
    My plant showed all kinds of symptoms so i bought a ph test kit where you mix an indicator with water. I got 8.5😂 dropped it back down to 5 so it quickly absorbs some of the stuff it lacked the last few days. I'll retest in a few hours and get it to 5.5-6 so everything can continue normally

    • @misterkim6206
      @misterkim6206 3 года назад

      AC Infinity is top notch if you're looking for inline fans with duct tubing. If not, it depends on the size of the room but I definitely like oscillating fans. The little portable ones are hit and miss and you need a couple of them usually. I like them to hit the plants a little to make them stronger like natural wind, but not directly all the time.

      I would play with it a bit I’ve done as low as 5.9 in full coco for moms and they are fine, reason being is because I use the same feeding for the rest of the stuff in
      rock wool and I don’t like going over 5.9 in rockwool as you’ll definitely see changes if given a couple of feedings.. I think you could go as low as 6.1 and you’ll be just fine if growing in a third of coco.. just noticed this comment is like 3 years old😂

    hey man, im doing a coco/perlite grow with organic dry amendments in the soil. can i start using non organic nutes after the amendments play out? right now im ph-ing at 6.5 - 6.8 and not using nutes. i was thinking after about a month and a half in when the amendments are expired i could introduce synthetic nutes (i had a lot of trouble re-amending mid grow via amendment top dressing so i wanna try switching mid grow) and then start ph-ing around 6.0 - 6.5. is this feasible you think? or does a grow have to be one way or the other, that is, only organic, or only synthetic nute based.

      with coco it's pretty important to check ur inputs AND outputs on ppm and ec. in coco as u feed and ur media dries out the little bit of salt left in there will make ur ec rise and ph drop. so as ur plant gets bigger u must adjust ur solution ph up due to more food. yes coco is different than either soil or hydro.

For someone who doesn't want to mess with a ph tester and ph up and down; could one use water that has a base ph that is need for the plant. I tested my soil and it’s 5.5. All my leaves are yellowing on the edges and are turning brown. Also burnt tips on the new growth. I think I need to stop giving it nutrients and just feed it water from now on. I’m trying to save this plant given to me.

      Could be a build up of salt that can also be a nutrient block. Ph the water to 6.5 and give it a good flush should sort it out.

    My shop bought soil has a pH of 7. Would you suggest watering at a pH of 6.4 to lower the overall pH level?

      I think so assuming you have a meter for the soil too

      You could just add compost, organic matter is acidic
