Okay....I've seen a few of your videos now and I just have to say that this is the closest experience to shopping in real life I've ever experienced. I'll be needing a few things soon and I'm absolutely buying from you. Even if it's a few bucks more than the online warehouses. Bravo, sir.
Once u said install ,fan , inline , duct all in same sentence i subbed lol been going thru hell doing all this by myself (trust issues) so appreciate it 💯💯
I just wanted to say thank you for making a video like this. I'm now confident I can set up something similar myself, in my own 4x4 tent! Respect from Canada! Keep up the super informative vids. (I also sub'd due to this video).
Just found your channel today. Love your videos. All good info, especially the attention to symmetry and precision. I've seen so many garbage setups with junk everywhere, random things in the room, off-center lights, open water buckets, etc. One thing I think is important to remember, especially with systems using lots of water: electricity ABOVE, water BELOW. That's another mistake I've seen: random wires all over the place. That's just asking for disaster because there are two types of growers: those who have had a leak, and those who will. Keep up the great work!!
Been watching your videos for a few weeks now. Always nice to see other people's build ideas. It is great that you have great product knowledge, but your best asset is that you explain the steps and reasons why you choose the parts you do. A true salesman. You my friend have a gift. Keep it up. Would love to visit one day.
Awesome possum! Just set up my first tent ever, so easy, can't wait, my lights and filter are coming tomorrow! Which is great because my sprouted plants are not thriving in their current weak 35w light setting.
@@PAHydroponics do you know how often you have to replace the carbon in the filter and how do you do it? also would it save the carbon if you didn't hook in up until you need it during flowering? cheers!
@@Cream_CurdlR Yes it would save the carbon only using it when needed, wrat it in plastic wrap when not using. Filters last a year for the most part, some people get 2 years, I notice around end of year holidays people seem to replace most. Thanks for watching. Gary
Hey Gary, great set of videos you have here! Much more informative than most, due to you including 'insider' details and things to watch out for, in between discussing products and methods. No doubt from years of experiences, plus customers returning, describing pitfalls over those years
this is what I am talking abou by far one of the best videos/tutorials out period there leaves no set up questions to be asked!!! I usually don't hit like and I don't leave comments. way to go way to educate. I do have to ask couldn't you have used say a 6x12 carbon filter in a setup as long as it way rated for amount of air you want to move correct? ex: 5x9x10 tent 6x12 filter 450cfm rated 35cfm fan
Hello and thanks for the compliments! Usually 6 inch filter are at least 16 inches long, and 4 inch filters come in the 12 inch length but if they do make a 12 inch then it should be set up to run with a 6 inch fan. Thanks for the comment! Gary
Order came in fast!! This kit is niceeee. I started it at full speed, but now I'm at half speed and it keeps the tent nice. Plants are loving it. I can control the temp and humidity now.
Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
@Troy Dwayne i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
My dream setup is a gorilla tent With Black dog phytomax 3 lights and a Ac Infinity or Hyperfan extraction system . I've been saving up and I will buy my first gorilla tent soon hopefully.
I am still using my cloning bucket three years later you I actually bought a couple to quarter bucket that were complete kits & the only one that is working is the one in the step-by-step video you made a long time ago, so I think you’re very much.
Little tip to keep things easier and cleaner looking, just attach your fan straight on to your filter with a flange or collar. If you have neither strong gorilla tape works just as well. Iv done this with rvk’s/isomaxs/hyperfans/tornado boxfans all sizes from 6-12 inch works fine, no cutting or messing with ducting just one clean straight run😁
Its actually not recommended to attach inline fans directly to a carbon filter. The vibrations from the fan can cause the carbon to settle on the bottom of the filter and then can cause air pockets in your carbon making the filter less effective and possibly clog faster.
I have a 3x4 tent with a 6" fan but found to get maximum airflow during flowering I needed a 2nd fan pumping air in with both on max speed. that solved my mold problems
A do agree with you Gary about using a fan that's too big but if you have speed control you can turn it way down and you can get longer life and if you upgrade you can use it in a bigger set up down the line as someone progresses cuz I use a 6in in a 2 by 4 but I run it under 50 percent all the time and I made a diy kit to keep my tent walls from sucking in and it also holds my trellis net super tight in place hehehehehe
I subscribed because you taught me something amazing, thing is I’ve never grown indoors, and I’m trying to learn as much as I can before I set it all up....instructions are hard to follow, but this video was excellent....thank you..

Great video, very practical and straightforward. Thanks for taking the time to share your ideas. Learned a lot. Don't have a grow tent yet. One could be in the offing sometime later this year.
I designed a more intelligent air duct fan, which can operate all functions directly with a mobile phone. I would like to invite you to review it and take a simple one-minute short video for me. Would you like it? You can contact me directly

A few years ago, I built a 3x4 box without knowing what I was doing. I got three 300 watt equivalent LED panels, a carbon filter and inline fan. There was an exhaust line for an old central vac system so I arranged it so the fan blows into the filter which is held in a box with sliding door access. The box is connected to the exhaust line and filtered air is pushed up the exhaust and out of my house. It works but it's not very efficient. I was worried that the carbon filter wouldn't remove all the skunk smell. Anyway - I'm mostly a dirt pot guy and although I've grown in it, usually the box is just to start my seedlings and dry my herb in the fall. After watching your clip, I think I'll rework the filter!
@@PAHydroponics Thanks Gary - I think that's a nice way of saying I'm not the only knob in the world. :-) I tore out the filter compartment and vented my grow box properly. It really blows air now and this winter I won't be pushing heated air out of my house. Good channel, pal.
Thank you for the help on the fan and filter the wife is complaining about the spare room smelling like weed i like it but I want to make the wife happy. I like watchibng all your videos
My LED tent in basement heats inside to low 70's and an open vent at bottom and top provide a convective cross air flow ... no fan needed (bought one, never used it). Getting great yields.
wanted to see just how easy your vent hose went on, and now I know. with my system I could not get the vent hose to fit on to the fan, I gave up, looking for a larger vent hose that will fit. paid good money for a lost cause.
dang, this is an awesome setup for growing tomato's. I could defiantly see myself growing so many tomato's in there.
Lol
dont forget carbon filter, dont want neighbors smelling those growing tomatoes

Definitely could see someone growing some BIG, BEAUTIFUL, STICKY tomatoes from this setup! Thank you for the demonstration!
