Approaching 1000 Aircraft! United Airlines' Fleet In 2024

  • The mainline fleet of United Airlines is massive. With 950 aircraft at the time of this video’s production, it's just slightly smaller than the mainline fleet at American, which currently boasts 967 jets. However, all of this will change over the next few months as more new aircraft arrive at the carrier.

I think the A350 order is smart timing. as Scott Kirby, would use the 787-10's to replace their domestic 777-200's and any domestic 777 routes. For the longer ETOPS routes, the A350's are a better replacement based off capacity and range.

@@aaroneisengart9887 United is NOT pulling away from the Max 10. They're removing the aircraft from their schedules because they have no idea when Boeing will deliver the aircraft. There's an indication that United may cancel the Max 10 order for the A321, but Airbus will have to either cancel or push back another airline's order to fit United in. I don't see that happening.

Dont forget delta still has orders for the 737-10 as well and they never said anything about canceling how do they trust in the plane. Why do any of the 737 max airlines trust this plane at a time when theres uncertainty with boeing. Shouldnt they be skeptical after the 2 crashes AND the door plug AND the engine AND the whistle blowers.................etc

    that's 38 X B767-300 ER & 26 X B767-400 ER . . . other than the first B767-200 all other iterations of the B767 are ER variants . . . even including the B767-300 ERF . . . United should retire their fleet of B737-900 & B737-700 asap, not to mention the B777-200 . . . note, Delta Airlines also operate 26 B767-400 ER which is a further stretched of the B767-300 ER . . .
