Wait, how did you manage to get Mac OS running on a non Apple computer? I thought Apple didn't allow people to dump the ISO

Installing Mac OS on a non Apple computer is possible because they both have Intel processors. It's known as "hackintosh". Apple doesn't want you to do it, but it's not a big deal because it's quite difficult, and it never works as well as Windows or Linux or a real Mac. But it could be a fun challenge if you like messing with computers.

Maxwell and Pascal don't support metal, if you had a Kepler GPU, then you'll get metal support

The previous GPU that was in this computer (Quadro K600) was Kepler. But it's supported only up to Big Sur, so it wouldn't have worked well on Sonoma anyway. dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/macos-limits.html#gpu-support

@@TheComputerGuy96 So how did you install Sonoma on a 1050 Ti if it only supports up to High Sierra?

@@daviddaniel1001 The video explains it: get the older “Nvidia web drivers” with OpenCore Legacy Patcher, which give you video acceleration but no Metal. I have no idea if there is a similar patch for the Kepler GPU.

@@TheComputerGuy96 Then try another Kepler GPU like the GTX 680

Why not screen recorder like obs?

Good question. Mainly because I was lazy, but also because I don't have a good microphone for this PC. Screen recording with the included QuickTime Player app works fine.
