I've always thought of Shorty as sweet and loving, and Kodi as rather clever. This certainly casts them in a different light. Cute vid, but I think I'll stick with my initial impression.

I'm so sorry you've been feeling that way, Sylvia. I've struggled my entire life with depression. When I'm feeling my best is when I'm feeling of use to someone, that I can be of service, that someone needs me. That's a reason to get out of bed and to have purpose. Animal companions can do that, for sure. Or volunteering in some way. Or doing some job that helps people. I'm not trying to be a therapist or to "solve" your problem. Because sometimes life just sucks and it's ok to feel that. We shouldn't "try" to feel happy all the time. I just wanted to share a bit of how I feel, and hope that helps. When I'm feeling my best is when I'm feeling of use to someone, that I can be of service, that someone needs me. That's a reason to get out of bed and to have purpose. Animal companions can do that, for sure. Or volunteering in some way. Or doing some job that helps people. I'm not trying to be a therapist or to "solve" your problem. Because sometimes life just sucks and it's ok to feel that. We shouldn't "try" to feel happy all the time. I just wanted to share a bit of how I feel, and hope that helps.
