- Hey squad! I'm so excited to train your upper body and core today! Remember, training your core is so beneficial for all lifts, work on breathing and connecting to the muscles, sometimes taking it a bit lighter and engaging more on the exhale will make all the difference! I've never appreciated and understood core training like I do after having my baby last year and rebuilding my core strength and control and this workout maximizes that connection. Grab some dumbbells and let's crush it!

In today’s workout we will work for 60 seconds and complete two rounds of each exercise. Focus on keeping a tempo of 2-0-2 to make sure you are getting hypertrophic gains! I want you to focus on your breath and really targeting one specific muscle group at a time. The dumbbells I used for this workout are 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 20 lbs, and 25 lbs.

7. Underhand Rows
8. Standing Front rack crunch and twist
9. Close Press and Tricep Extension

Really liked the standing core and would love to do more. Feels so practical, like this type of strengthening will help avoid injury in normal life (laundry, groceries, kids, dogs etc)!
I’ll be honest, I didn’t love this workout but I still crushed it. Still grateful for this new video and for Sydney and Dustin for always putting in the work for us. For myself, I needed a little more umph in my Friday workout. Missing some cardio action for me so I’m going to do an add on with one of Sydney’s other workouts. I normally struggle to connect with standing core moves, but today I actually felt the MMC! REPS level 1 crushed 💪🏻 Happy Friday Squad!
This one really challenged my balance, which is a testimony to my need for more diversity in my core strengthening.

Crushed it! Sydney I have a very rare condition it is MEN2 I saw my specialist the other day and seeing that I was 209 the last time I saw him and losing weight to 157 he was very happy🎉and so was I. My goal weight is 155, but I always go up and down about 5 pounds, and I'm OK with that ❤ thx Syd

I did this workout yesterday and added Sydney's 15-minute jump rope video. While doing the standing ab work, I felt the connection of abs being engaged, but was like okay.
