- Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share my college decision reactions with you all!! I applied to a total of 26 schools. It was an emotional journey filled with incredible highs and lows to say the least, but I am so blessed and grateful for my teachers, friends, family, and mentors who have supported me every step of the way. I will cherish my high school journey forever and am beyond excited for what's to come. Thank you so much for watching and please feel free to reach out for help, advice, or just to chat :)

If your mom is a first-generation immigrant, all she could think of at that point were all her sacrifices to give you a better life in the US. It was all worth it. It was a reaffirmation that she made the right choice. Congratulations to you and your family!

frrrrrr, even as a older brother, i have much better academics than my younger siblings, my parents don't compare, but i know my younger siblings do. I cant imagine having an older sibling who went to harvard, but with olivia, as an older sibling you want to do really good because your the oldest, and you always feel pressure to be the best.

I was crying with them for Harvard! Can I also say? What an awesome little sister to have. Silently in the background supporting each time, making sure she didn’t take the moment from her older sister, and letting mom/dad/older sister rejoice each time 💕 Congrats to the entire fam!

As someone who never let herself dream about any Ivies until the fall of my senior year, this is one of the best and most accurate college decision reaction videos I've seen! Not letting yourself dream about Harvard and them only accepting 1 student every 2 years was how I felt about my school during my process. (1 person goes Ivy every year from my school. No multiple Ivy send offs ever.) Your family is so sweet and so supportive and I love that! So so proud of you and all your acceptances! You deserve and have worked for every one!

The fact that you got accepted into almost all the schools you applied to is AMAZING!!! I'm a rising junior in high school and my dream school is MIT but I suck at writing essays. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! (P.s. taking AP Lang this year in hopes it's going to improve my writing skills)

As a mother to kids who have been through this process in the UK, I feel every ounce of your momma's anxiety and joy. This right here is the moment she dreamed of and raised you up to. Having said this, you got here through hard work. You deserve the world and you will get it.
100%! We went through this last year with my daughter and 3 years ago with my son. I think I was more nervous than them the entire time, but also so proud of them whatever happened at the same time! They both got into the Universities they wanted- my son was given an unconditional offer from 5 universities! My daughter never expected in a million years to get into Oxford but she starts her 2nd year in a couple of weeks :) So proud of them AND all students who do their best and what is right for them ❤

CONGRATS! As someone who also graduated from a large urban public HS, I never knew it was possible to get into a lot of these colleges. Almost everyone I know that got in/attended these schools went to private, charter, or specialized magnet high schools. You are blessed!
All the large public schools in my area always get students every year into Ivy league type schools. The percentage is just lower than private or magnet schools.

I graduated highschool back in 2013, so its been a whole ten years since I opened my college decisions! Your video brought back all the memories and feelings I had when opening mine. It was such a fun and exciting time in my life.

The American system is so wild, to think that you had such diversity in your results. In Australia, we get a final rank called ATAR and you basically know for certain which courses you can and can't get into at every school based of off the posted ATAR requirements, much less suspenseful. Congrats on the amazing results! You must have worked very hard :D
Keep in mind this is for TOP schools. Even if you slack off, you can pretty much get accepted from at least one college so long as you pass your classes. :P

This might be the very first college acceptance video that made me emotional, probably because I could relate and understand what its like coming from an immigrant family and being the first to go to college. This madame cry to. I'm so happy for her. I only cry because my parents r immigrants to... but I got bad grades my freshman year which impact my GPA a lot. I wish I could have made them this happy. all I ever wanted was to make them proud parents 😢

Your mom is so supportive. It caused me to get emotional seeing you and your beautiful family interact with each other. I wish more emphasis on school was instilled in me. Instead because I was not the best student I joined the military. Luckily now I can go to school with the GI bill! I got into the University of Oregon. I recently moved and hope to get into University of Washington next to get a bachelors in Architecture. You seem so calm and collected. I admire you and would like to be a little more like you so I have followed! This was a crazy long video and wow all the essays and fees to apply to all those colleges! You seem like such a cool person and frankly just so inspiring. Over a 4.5 gpa is crazy! You are really inspiring.
