I’m about to be a senior at a high school in my home town of Stratford CT. My dream college is Sacred Heart, which is like the town of Stratford, is in the Bridgeport metropolitan area. Bridgeport is Connecticut’s largest city. Sacred Heart is an amazing Catholic school that’s in Fairfield, but on the border with Bridgeport. I’m not Catholic though. I’m a Congregationist. However, Sacred Heart is still amazing to go to with its awesome programs. Southern Connecticut State University, which is where my dad graduated from, and which is located in New Haven, which is also where Yale is, is an alternative. Fairfield University, a Jesuit school in a different part of Fairfield than SHU, and more into Fairfield than SHU being on Bridgeport’s border but in Fairfield, is another alternative of mine, which is where my mom graduated. I will not be doing UConn, as I want to stay local and at my house. I’m definitely going to start at Gateway, which is a community college in New Haven. Hopefully I can do SHU!
