I've had one of these on my bench for three weeks, have reassembled it five or six times now, and every single time either the cylinder latch won't lock up, or the sear/trigger won't engage. Dumped the entire thing in the kitchen trash can this evening and I'm going to go buy a Smith tomorrow. Budget guns are budget because they're crap.

I sent mine new super wrangler for a lower grip frame replacement. It had some huge pits and finning. For some reason customer service replaced the loading gate. Never had a problem with it and the finish was fine on the part going in for service. There was chipped off cericoat on the metal frame. This pistol was purchased a few weeks ago New never shot. It came back from Ruger customer service yesterday with a replacement loading gate tipped in on top like it’s bent and the cericoat chipped off on the inside. The loading gate also will push forward a good quarter inch. I would assume it needs to come back in for repair again?
You would have an easier trigger pin removal in the other direction, even a plastic electronics screwdriver will push it out. After you depress the spring.
