      *EVERY Hollywood film*
No shade to “ the wild robot”
      That movie is amazing.
But an independent film DOMINATING the box office is an achievement.
      No studio interference.
Bring back mid-budget movies. 20-50 million is enough to create a box office success.
Let directors and writers create again.
Avengers infinity war cost 500 million.
You give ten independent directors that money, you will make a profit.
      Guaranteed.
I want major studios to make a 20 million dollar movie and spend 30 million on marketing.
Give me new passionate directors with a vision over the same slop, anyday.

I heavily appreciate the fact that he wants Art to remain truly evil. He doesn’t want Art to become a parody of himself, or at all likable.

    • @devontehuntley6274
      @devontehuntley6274 12 дней назад +22

Well, that's not entirely true. He's pretty much a parody with how comical he acts most of the time which was not the case in the All Hallows Eve movies where Art was straight forward and creepy. He wasn't putting on a show.

@@devontehuntley6274i personally think art was always supposed to be "funny" it just didn't translate ok screen as much with the actor who previously played Art. For example, in all hallows eve he literally sits at the top of the staircase and starts to point and laugh at the babysitter. I think Thornton is just more capable of bringing Damien Leones ideas to fruition.

11:37 it is so validating to hear the writer director creator confirm the first thing i said outside the theatre. This movie was making a point to remind the audience that art is not your friend or pal. No matter who you are, no matter how you act or treat art, even if you indulge in his fantasy like santa does, even if you are a superfan like the podcaster, or more directly the audience, you ARE going to be murdered in the cruelest most sadistic way possible.

    Thinking about it
I think terrifier 3 is my favorite out of the franchise
But terrifier 2 still holds the best kill with the bed room scene.
But the reason terrifier 3 is my favorite is the opening it's gonna be an iconic opening In the future, it was disturbing yet more fun then the previous entries.
Then that climax in the third act
That's probably the best thing produced from this franchise it felt disturbing, hopeless, scary it just felt like an endurance test.

I love that he wants art to stay true to the character he made him out to be. I think terrifier 3, although I enjoyed the second slightly better, was the best theater experience I ever had!

I can accept that a majority of people on reddit were confused by the editing in the final 20 mins but i think the length was perfect, ending of 2 drags a bit

I honestly love that every horror fan has an extremely similar story. The only difference is some of us were allowed to watch them and some of us had to sneak behind our parents backs, but horror since a literal toddler seems to be the common denominator.

Aw, man, I _thought_ poor Ally's final corpse resembled Mary Jane Kelly's (particularly the thigh/leg defleshing) and might've been an homage, but I ultimately dismissed it as a coincidence. But, no, I was right the first time!
I honestly could barely get through the uncensored KC of Terrifier 2, so I'm doubtful I'll be able to watch the films properly any time soon. (I do currently have chronic medical issues that cause chronic nausea, so too much gore... isn't a good idea for me now, even if I could normally "handle" it fine before. I only mention this to explain why I used KC as a "substitute" for watching the movies. I really wish I didn't have to, but I'm at the mercy of my guts right now, and they're currently worse than Art! I'm hoping to get surgery that will fix my issues and relieve my nausea, but until that day arrives...)
But I love Art the Clown, Sienna, and the whole story of the saga in general. Also, I find it genuinely heartwarming and inspirational to see Damien Leone grow as a filmmaker with every entry, especially how he so graciously takes on constructive criticism and _actually uses it_ to improve his craft. Characters too "shallow" in Terrifier 1? Here, have _tons_ of character development for (almost) everybody in 2! Film "too long; needs more editing" in Terrifier 2? Behold, noticeably improved and tightened editing in Terrifier 3, resulting in a shorter, less "draggy" runtime! It's just rare and lovely to see, even if it's obliquely.

Sorry bout ur health struggles & hopefully u can get it either resolved or somewhat controlled! Just wanna say as a fan of all kinds of gore and no gross out limit, I understand everyone has limits whether from health physically or psychologically so after ur comment I just wanted to tell u that u should never have to worry bout defending ur stance on watching certain movies & if anyone would ever give u crap about it, then they are not worth ur time or friendship! Also, I really liked ur sum up of the films!! ❤💞❤️

I will say, especially in Terrifier 2, they did a really great job creating characters that were likable enough that you could be invested in what they're doing, but not so lovable that you didn't want to see Art kill them.
