I am a Glock guy, mainly because of reliability, ease of maintenance, and because Glocks all pretty much feel the same, whether it's a 43 or a 20, there's a lot of similarity in how they shoot. My main loves are the .45 models, but for carry ability I have switched to 9 mm mostly the past couple of years. Love the 19, really love the 26 (mainly because it's easier to conceal, and I love that versatility that it has), But the 43X made me fall in love with it. I didn't want to. But when I hold that thing, it's the first one that truly feels right. Don't get me wrong, I like other brands too, i'm just kind of centered and trained on the glocks better. But that one form factor keeps drawing me to it daily. If they had made it OEM with a higher capacity, I think it would've been an absolute home run over anything for a long time.
Gotta say I agree with you wholeheartedly. The similarities between Glock platforms won me too. I like knowing whichever model I pick up, will shoot just about the same as any other
