Take the 43x and put an extended rear sight in it and hang Streamlight TLR-6 light on the front for weight or a DPM recoil system on it and you’ll almost cancel the differences it has with the 48. If you own one of the 80% of accurately molded pistols you can switch to S15 15 round mags. Sadly about 20% of the 43x/48 pistols aren’t reliable with the S15s because the molded mag wells are slightly mis-shapened.
Depends on body shape and clothing choice. 19 is the obvious better “gun” but not for all situations. Not ideal for true concealed carry. The shield mag is also not a 100% reliable mag either, I don’t care what they say, so I stick with the 10 rounder and just carry the second In my pocket 😂. Or you could get a mag holster. What influenced the design of the 43x was Glock getting its ass chewed up by the M&P Shield, which came out 4 years before the G43, had greater capacity, and sold like hotcakes. Glock came in with the 43 and it was too little, too late. So, the 43x was born.

I've rented an AR-15 and shotgun at the range to try but didn't care to much for them. Is glock 22 .40S&W good enough for self defense and home defense? Do I need an AR-15?
The difference is the G48 makes no sense. Same capacity of a 43x but not as concealable. Same footprint as the 19 but with 5 less rounds. Its a gun without an identity. It would make sense IF it weren't marketed as a gun for concealed carry. Its like they took the worst things about two different guns and combined them to make the G48
43x was created due to guys with large to extra large hands having issues with the 43. We can't drop a 43 mag without it hanging up on our palm. They took the 43 and gave it a a slimline version grip of the glock 19. The 48 is essentially a 43x with a glock 17 equivalent slide. At least that's how glock explained it to me.

Hi, I have 2 glock 22 gen 3 I conceal carry IWB and are my home defense guns. I use 180 federal tactical law enforcement HST and 180 Speergolddot ammo as my primary. I switch it up. I've rented an AR-15 and shotgun at the range to try but didn't care to much for them. Is glock 22 .40S&W good enough for self defense and home defense? Do I need an AR-15?
Why the distracting MUSICK?
Longer barrells Jam if you get shot at and you have a 48 your probably Ded
Wh...wh...what?
I prefer the 43x.
2:34 There, I saved you 5 minutes.
The more weight in the magazine (more rounds) does not equal less recoil in a pistol. Recoil plus or minus is affected by barrel weight and length
If the gun is heavier it's moved less by recoil.
Physics
I see a typical array of rude, classless people in almost every comment section, especially if a woman is the presenter. Sad.
Also an array of people praising her for no reason.
I bet she drives a yota! I can put money on it 💪🏼
This is so funny. I drive a Corolla hatch 😂
My 48 came with a GMB, don't hear much about it.
Odd question, what kind of watch are you wearing in this video?
casio gshock
She is. Wow. ❤
Is the Glock da best handgun on the market 🤷🏻♂️ cause i wanna buy a gun !!
If you’re looking for something affordable and reliable and extremely simple get the glock
Did she say it did, or did not, have Belgian whistles?
43x was created due to guys with large to extra large hands having issues with the 43. We can't drop a 43 mag without it hanging up on our palm. They took the 43 and gave it a a slimline version grip of the glock 19. The 48 is essentially a 43x with a glock 17 equivalent slide. At least that's how glock explained it to me.
You didn’t mention the barrel length on the G48 as a comparison.
She gives off cop vibes.
She might’ve been in the military!! What does that have to do with the topic she’s speaking on?
