Seeing a lot of comments about the ability to mount the sight directly to the slide without the use of a plate. Yes a Glock 43x MOS can have an optic put on it but in most cases the rear lugs have to be ground down. It’s much easier to buy a plate, and mount it up that way. It doesn’t raise the optic enough to raise height over bore concerns, I’ve built 4 43x’s for some buddies and have sighted them all in at 25 and can confidently hit steel at 50 with them running a plate. Save the time, effort, and overall ease of the build and buy a plate from a reputable brand.
@@Trey_Henderson43x does not come with plates. It comes with a shield rmsc cut its different than glocks full size mos system. So anything dot with that footprint will direct mount.
Hello, I am a mechanic technician, In general, though there were a few hiccups, which are okay, I recommend putting the locktite on the edge of the screw hole instead of on the screw. If you put locktite on the screw, it can start to back out because of the bubbles.
Perfect is a matter of preference/choice. Like your color scheme or the light. Some people don’t like the light for many reasons as it adds more bulk to an everyday carry concealable gun, and the usage of a light mounted gun gives your position away at night. Some people carry a flashlight and some people don’t. The only time I need a light is at night and I have one in my vehicle at all times and I have one readily available at home for clearing my home. Definitely the Glock 43x MOS is a versatile everyday carry gun as it’s my choice of carry. Everything looks Awesome..
I did mine kinda similar to yours as soon as my gun store called me telling me the 43xmos have finally arrived after they released them ! Put a Trijicon RMS trijicon suppresor night sights to co witness , TLR sub, put in a Johnny Glocks trigger and this X pumps out the rounds over 4000k no hiccups and I can ring steel at 100 yards all day with it. That Johnny’s Glock trigger is a game changer 🔥. Happy Holidays. Yeee yeeee

Love my 43x. Great build. I decided to keep everything OEM. Practice with the crappy sights and Got Good with the aim believe it or not. OEM internals and OEM mags. Only addition was talon Grips. To me it’s a tool and that tool needs to always be useful and workable and reliable. Can’t go wrong with a stock Glock. Stock Glocks always Rock as they say. Well as I say 😆. 8,000 rounds later has ran flawlessly other than one failure to feed. But enjoy that 43x a Glock I will be carrying and trust my life with for the long haul. Great video and now subbed.
Recently got a Glock 48MOS but didn’t like the 10 round capacity so I had to buy 15 rounds and I had to change out the mag release. Let me just say that was the difficult part lol good luck on yours.

I’ve had so many issues with mounting screws. I don’t know what is going on. Even the instruction manual has the wrong screw threads listed. And when they put the factory loctite and you start torquing down the screws, you can’t tell whether you’re cross threading the threads or it’s the blue Loctite that’s gripping the threads
I did the same except the mag well. I also put a back strap with extended beaver tail, Apex trigger,Also a iwb and owb holsters. It’s a great edc pistol.
I just recently put talon grips on. My first time using them and I like them so far I’m going to see how they hold up after a couple hundred rounds. I think I may go with an apex trigger also.
I got a dot on mine but I'm on the fence with the light. So many pros yet so many cons. I'm just thinking a separate edc light be the way to go. What say yall.

@@TheBlackconsigliere magwells assist in quicker reloads. And they don’t necessarily make the print bigger depending on the person carrying and their carrying style it may not affect them at all. Plus they help seat your hand also on smaller guns or even on bigger guns depending on hand size

I love my G48. Slim fit, way more comfortable than a G19 in my opinion, and the 43X is way too snappy.. I stick with OEM magazines. Can't trust PSA, S15 or Promags with your life, they are great for range use..
Have a similar set up except I have XS R3D 2.0 night sights, Swampfox Sentinel 2(mounts directly to the slide), I kept all my Shield Arms parts black and have Gen3 S15 mags which I ran about 800 rounds through each mag with 115, 124, 124+p and 147 to check and test feeding (not a single issue)

Nice! Me personally, had issues with the S15 mags plus I didn’t want to change the mag catch. The PSA micro dagger 15 round mags worked flawlessly and are less expensive.
Whaaaat? I thought the S15 was the only option out there for that bigger capacity. Definitely gunna check that out cause I can't bring myself to get mags with all the bad reviews.
the tlr7 sub has a tool that comes with it bro to tighten it down nice build tho i have the same setup just on my psa micro dagger c-1 ive changed out a few things like firing pin to a oem glock pin i went the shield arms route as well due to i bought the slide for the dagger first and a glock 43x non mos lower. due to the lowers from psa not being in stock at that time. About 6 months later i got the actual slide from them which i just swapped it all out since i already had the mags

With the amount of money glocks cost and how popular they are, a lot of that stuff should come stock, you shouldn’t have to spend extra money on components and accessories to upgrade a Glock to the way it should be from the factory

Grip coild be a bit bigger but thats just me. But it's weight isn't bad. It's obviously on the heavier side because it's a revolver but I like it!! I'd recommend it tbh. :) ☺️☺️

Does it not come with plates? My 43X isn’t a MOS but my Gen5 19 MOS came with plates in the box.

Just FYI: there are red dots that are designed to mount directly to the slide of a 43x/48. One is actually made by shield arms.
The problem is the bolts extend too far without a plate and fuck w the extractor without a plate

I run a SwampFox Sentinel on my 43x and it doesn't require a mounting plate and runs flawless.
You do not need a plate jus adjust the recticle been running mine without a plate, been doing fine

If you see you having ejection problems its probably the right screw is rubbing on the extraction rod

Dental pick is the best tool for changing the mag catch. Torque the holosun to 15 inch lbs.

For me personally, no it dosent make it that much harder to conceal. The optic isn’t that big so I barely notice it.
You can use the PSA 15rd mags w/o changing the release..

Please bro get them 507 screws torque to specs I believe it’s around 15-18 inlbs. You don’t want them screw to break off.

Just got my 43XMOS, a little research and I saw the the shield was kind of inferior to the PSA Dagger. Mine Should arrive in 2 days.

That's not even loctite, its nylon thread that helps with retention of the screws, loctite is a must

I just feel like it makes more sense, especially if you already know how you want to build it out. Of course it may not be possible to do for every gun but still.
