My thoughts on the best core Titan gameplay loop available in Destiny at the moment. Recorded live on stream, so the video quality isn't up to par with my usual analyses, but a lot of people were asking for this. Enjoy!

You should look into the banner of war since the steps build. Not only does it make you pretty indestructible it also buffs your teammates

Gonna be on solar titan but will have a strand loadout ready just in case banner of war is the play. Of course i will have void and arc builds but not planning on using them. If anything though I expect that I will be needed to swap to my warlock or hunter since we have 3 titan mains for this day 1 instead of 2-2-2.

To anyone who doesn't know thrallmaze it sounds stupid, but it's actually the perfect exotic for the situation...

Why? I never did Crota's in D1 so why would I bring it?
@@CreepoZthrallmaze takes away sprint and double jumps (think of that one bit in the lightblade strike). it also sends thrall at your constantly with no breaks. This makes rat king pretty good cuz you can go invis when you reload after kills. Infinite thrall = infinite invis

Actual helpful comment, blinding GLs pair 10/10 with any hammer build, so much more forgiving to bonk things when they’re not dodging or shooting back and everything that’s not a champion or a boss is affected. My ALH/blinding Pardon our Dust is a “Don’t leave home without it” item when it’s bonkin time
Aegis what are your thoughts on Leviathans breath? With a tractor and a well with 5 Leviathans breath would there be enough total damage to clear a day one raid? How far behind rockets can it be?

just in general...aside from using bonk like in a gm situation as a main weapon, what are some weapons / weapon loadouts i can use as a solar titan that are useful/synergize or are just good in general. especially in much more difficult content (gms and master raids).
My loadouts video kind of goes over the best general use weapons atm if that helps
The new solar titan exotic can do MASSIVED dps on its own, and even more if you can get synthoseps to proc. You pop your super with the new exotic, swap to syntho, and you will still do the one shot super but buffed by by biotic enhancements. Sunbreaker titan has good damage options now with this loadout swap
It's very good numbers wise but suffers from being a bit slow and more situational than TCrash, notably flying bosses like Deathsinger will be.
Extremely situational especially for a day 1 (also it's literally in this video)
Thoughts on the fragment that adds more scorch stacks(ashes) especially for the increase super ignitions?

Ember of Mercy its good ? if I remember, it seems like your restoration drops to 2 seconds when you have a firesprite?
I'm not sure if that's patched so if you find it annoying you can swap for Solace or something
Does the person who applied the tractor debuff needs to be the one using rapid fire ranger? Or can everyone extend it?

I’ve been on arc titan for the past year and I barely noticed the HoIL nerf with the right build. I’ll probably run that until I start having survivability issues, but I usually get least deaths anyways. I didn’t have any issues with RoN though because everything was dead before it could hurt and I assume Crota will be the same
Just fyi, there are some contest mode changes
Outgoing damage reduced
Incoming damage remains the same
Enemies aggressiveness increasesd

@@dosentmatter1593 cap higher means it's capped more, confusing wording but a bungie dev confirmed it on twitter

Been trying to find more solo based titan stuff, I know I could probably Solar syntho slap most things but boss dps is where I fall short, any suggestions?

Apex for the most part but if you're talking solo solo stuff then you might want to look into LFRs, Levi, Acrius, swords

After some more gameplay this season with my friends and team, I think double special is dead for me. Aeons and cenotaphs are too dependent on encounter setups, and exotic primaries making heavy every 20 kills is too hard to compete with. My team doesnt do consistent one phases on dungeon or raid bosses, so we need consistent heavy to top off. I'll definitely experiment with it in day one, but enemy densities are so high that heavy is raining with exotic primaries vs ability spam like hammer or sunbracers.

Prob not optimal for a day one group but phoenix cradle is so good for doing sherpas, especially if you have a lot of hunters on your team with limited sustain
Not a fan of ember of mercy u get sol invictus anyway when u go and pick up that firesprit which is in the sun spot why not use ember of empyrean so u can extent the timer from range with solar weapons
Yeah the fragments on Sunbreaker besides Solace and Torches aren't super important
I like mercy in GMs, but honestly I keep it on half the time outside. The resil bump honestly means more than Emp some times. Not 100% due to D2 shit buff UI but i feel like stepping in a sunspot resets restor to 5/6 seconds anyway.

Do you plan on making a crota prep video for void titan? bubble is always good for the damage buff, and I think it's a better survivability subclass overall.
Not really, as I don't find it to be as appealing as Sunbreaker offensively
