Arc conductor you should absolutely use a lightweight frame. It’s not for boss DPS, and there is no reason at all to use more ammo than necessary to proc conductor.

I think the utility of the Caster Polaris is amazing as well, I use it for prismatic stronghold Titan and I can use it to proc bait and switch rockets on ranged bosses like Hefnd. It’s got so many positives going for it for everything outside of sword damage against melee bosses
How do I get the health of the boss to show at the bottom along with the percentage? Is it from the game settings itself or from a third-party program? Thank you in advance
Isn't there a similar quirk on Crota where trying to hit him with multiple Relic Sword Supers (which shoot a Wave) at once won't count more than one Wave at a time? Probably a similar issue as what's happening with Wave Swords.
Doing some brief testing w/ a friend it also seemed to be an issue with special wave gls. When using a heavy wave gl it didn't seem to be an issue for myself, but I couldn't test it with another person.
The wave-damage issue may be from something done to make Dead Messenger's waves not proc multiple times on the same target; multiple waves may trigger delays on actually adding to damage on the same target
Suddenly I'm even happier about the fact that I didn't obsess over trying to farm a "god roll" caster frame perfect fifth sword with jagged edge given the one I have has enduring.
I wonder we if the nerf to fire team wave frame swords had something unintentionally to do with that heavy wave frame gl nerf to riven and bosses a few seasons ago.
I use a caster perfect fifth as my standard sword. But nice to know my lightweight wolfpack roll can also be of use if i need to provide wolfpacks, too.

Also is unplanned reprieve wave good for dps, I noticed that the dps tab on your spreadsheet its damage is signficantly lower than lightweight/vortex, but on the other tabs it has better damage. Does the dps tab include the lost damage due to fireteam?
You probably shouldn't run wave+unplanned reprieve, bolts spawn from end of the wave which outside of riven means it probably won't hit the boss. Perfect fifth or maybe arc conductor are probably best dps options for specifically wave ergo. Unplanned+LWT is good for wide bosses and unplanned+vortex is good for smaller bosses/small leg gap bosses (rathil, kalli, etc.). On vortex the bolts spawn slightly in front of user and spread quick, so some bosses will have most bolts stick instantly while most bosses will have them fan away.
Yo Aegis, please consider looking into the Traveler's chosen vortex frame for this sword. It isn't so much for dps but rather for skating without needing eager edge or using your heavy slot. Just thought this had fascinating implications, have a good one
edit: i was asking to see if how good my raid sword would be compared to what I’ve already been doing for that boss (wave wolf then swapping to guilly for light spam). I got to the bad news of the video and while I’m still not sure if my actual question got answered I’ll take a consolation prize in knowing I’m the only person in my regular raid groups that has wave frames to use 😁 i'm only 6 minutes into the video so if you've answered this later into the video than i've seen my bad (i thought it i didn't leave a comment now i'd forget later haha) but on things like the spreadsheet and a few instances in your video it seems like legendary wave frames are king for dps (among legendary swords). i'm assuming a majority of the data backing up that claim comes from testing against riven, and i can see that the tracking for the wave heavy seems to setup for the follow-up midair light to be quite low allowing for the player to get on the floor quicker and resume dps. my question is, on bosses where the tracking isn't so generous and you go a lot higher (namely finality), how much does this affect dps?
Falling Guillotine needs double damage perks to be relevant. Obviously if you are surrounded (crota) you should run surrounded, otherwise BnS (like on herald). Vorpal kinda sucks as the dps option since it's a 10% buff instead of 15% like frenzy. From his 'sustained' tab if you have vorpal instead of frenzy it's dps would be about 179,482 * (1.1/1.15) = 171,679 dps. Which would be slightly below a regular adaptive sword with whirlwind blade using the 1h2l combo.
Great video, tho i have a question regarding prismatic grenades with the catalyst. How often would you want to throw the prismatic grenade to get ammo back? Should you wait until you are completely out of ammo to start using them, or should you throw them periodically while dpsing? Also, would the hunter grenade causing scorch affect perfect fifth dps since it would, on paper, cause ignitions faster?
As often as you can, since it gives you increased Prismatic grenade charge rate when you do damage with it, I don't think Hailfire Spike affects the damage much as we tried other scorch sources
So, yesterday I completed Master Salvation Edge and got an almost perfect adept version of Summum Bonum...so now I should pull it to the vault and keep it there till Bungie fixes the frame issue with DPS. only 1 person can get full wave frame dmg per team. most of the testing was done with the same roll, to make sure everyone was getting the same dmg numbers, hence how they found the decreased wave dmg.
