"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

They didnt have to change anything to dedicate the dance to Baby. They knew that would upset her, and they chose to do it on a week that was really hard for her. This was a bad choice on the moms' parts.

I think the moms shouldnt of done that.
They shouldve let Abby express her emotions in the group dance but they changed it and made it happy when Abby was clearly mourning. That wouldve let Abby feel less sad while focusing on the emotions in the group dance than on broadway baby
idk why they didn’t just call the competition and tell them the group was for baby, instead of changing it. that was really dumb, i think the producers probably told them to change it

I know how hard it is for Abby. I recently lost my baby boy, my cat Snuggles that I had for 14 years. I'm 28, so my little dude was around literally half of my life. You take their presence for granted, thinking they will always be there, to love you without question, and then one day they're gone. It's still a struggle. I know others know what I'm talking about.
That said, I know that the moms hearts were in the right place and thought the dance was great!!
