Im with you...we both made the selfish choice bc we have big hearts that wanted her to stay in our life..sadly I have not beaten it a second time yet to find that answer for you but my guess is we wont get to choose again..it seems like one big important choice to make once, I don't think the game would push that question on us again...I wish it would bc after I finish everything of course id let her go..& remember the good times..but doubtful we will get to redeem ourselves ..its cool worse case you can do like me & beat everything in the game get 100% then put your save away for safe keeping...delete it beat the game again in a rush mode style & let her go to clear your conscious :D see I got a back up Plan xD

Imagine you beat the game like 100% all endings, magazines and paths and then Chloe just pops up again like; "Hey! Did ya miss me?"
If that Happens I will feel like complete utter dirt ... X,D you gonna make me cry but see by that point Ima be like "but i'm done now your to late Iv moved on past you Im seeing someone else while u went out seeing the world leaving me" xD she lucky I don't change the locks >~>...

Agreed I want her in dlc...& I hope we can get a sequel to this..as I feel unlike the past two games this could totally make a second game..but I would settle with some good ole dlc ^^

It may be possible to get her back, if you go to the save data management, in the ps4 settings, and erase all the saved data for this game.
I still couldn’t do it. I know it sounds silly but I would feel too guilty forcing her to stay. The game did a darn good job at making me feel sympathetic towards the androids.

*high five* the game was full of hard choices but this one...Im thinking about it more then any other I made...they out did themselves with this game.
ElectronicPlayEdge they definitely outdid themselves and it's sad that some people let their bias detract them from such an amazing experience.... the feeling when you finish a mission and see the flow chart to see how many possible outcomes there are... then when you get to certain missions and the flow chart is just gigantic because so many factors come into play... never should it be called an interactive movie...this is essentially you choosing one of many different paths on a topic that many people are to uncomfortable with talking about ...especially people in america

This is 1 of the very few games that I felt emotionally connected to the chars, both playable and npc, which is amazing.
i pressed yes in a heartbeat. saying no would in my mind defeat the entire purpose of being involved in this story in the first place
Now I could be wrong on this because I haven't played enough of the story paths to be sure but I don't think it would defeat the purpose of being in the story since the story branches allow u to as conner to fight for human side only and Markus can lose as well as kara so I imagine if they do then the android rights thing drop completely & story becomes about stopping this "threat to human existence" with that being said I was pro android the whole way, but i'm sure no matter how you play your involvement is meaningful ^^

I agree. I let her go in a heartbeat. You don’t NEED her in the menu, you can still play without a pretty face staring at you. Keeping her felt selfish to me.

I wanted her to stay but I did not want her to suffer. I totally did not know she would just reset herself. That totally blows. I wanted to play the game again and hear her comments on other decisions I had made. Guess I'll play the game again but lonely

When does she start commenting on choices that you made? I’m around the area where I stayed at the motel with Kara and all she says is general comments.

Damn, the coding required for just this..... amazing. The amount of detail, right down to facial expressions and vocal changed
Ahstia Summers the whole game was done through motion capture, which is why the facial expressions in this game are real. We aren’t at the point where we can hard code such human like expressions (see mass effect andromeda they didn’t do motion capture and the results are disastrous)
So apparently she askes more questions/surveys, i played and beat the game in 3 sittings (3 days) and chose to keep her. Reloaded final chapter couple times and she asked 3 more survey questions. So if you played for long hours i suppose keep that bish put in the main menu until you experienced all the interactions with her, Cause they can be forever missable if you let her go

Everyone that see's this comment please like it so others can see it its important info...the good news is if you have let her go there is a survey tab u can click on & I tested this when she is gone u can still get the new surveys but its not spoken to u by her which is a let down which again is why i'm never letting her out my sight >.> #campkeepher XD

She once said to me my saves were damaged. I got mad and she told me it was a joke.
Also, I said yes as she asked me if we were friends. And I let her go....
You get the best out of her if u stop playing every 2 or 3 hours or so and go back to the main menu and come back. First i did they survey then when she asked if we were friends and i said yes she was super happy then the next time i came back she couldnt see what would happen next and then when i exited for that day luther died saving kara and alice in the boat escape and chloe was super bummed about that and then after the escape when everyone was about to make the big march she asked me if i was sure i wanted to continue, (because we already lost luther and everyone else was still alive though) & we marched for peace and everyone lived, connor went deviant and reunited with hang and hugged as best friends and kara and alice made it to canada and then i let chloe go at the end which made me cry because i did a peace playthrough and since everyone lived minus luther it really hit me :)
I think Chloe should be free because androids aren't just machines...
They are alive like us and on the future if robot take over one day the might make the world a better place for us to live on...

Oh god they did good with this! I love her expressions when you don't let her go. You can see her struggling to come up with a convincing reason, but then she just gives up. It just hurts me!

Damn... I didn't realize how tough a choice this was... after seeing the sadness in her eyes from not being let go that just sucks and breaks my heart but I want to keep her. I wish she didn't have to reset herself how come I don't get a choice there. Why can't you choose to keep her and the reason is you want to be with her. Why is let me free or keep me and reset me. That's not fair it's clear to me that she sees how you play and grows for you and wants to be free why does me choosing to say I want to keep you mean she has to reset herself. I am not keeping you cause I don't want to let you go free I am keeping you because I want you to stay waifu. Ughh I wouldn't know what to pick. They say if you love someone let them go and if they truly love you they will come back so I would probably choose to let her go free but I am sad lol

I'm reading all these comments talking about how hard it was letting her go, it honestly wasn't for me, the build up of her telling you she feels different and things have changed. The moment she asks I told her yes no hesitation I spent the whole game playing androids who wanted to be free and helping them fight to be free as they are, how could I say no?

I've seen that but it seemed more in a sense of attachment to me, and alot said they were sad she was reset.

If I was in charge of development of Detroit 2 it'd go something like this:

>Keep her, and she'll uninstall both games from your Steam Library, out of frustration that you didn't learn anything from -the- either game.
Imagine it... a game that can uninstall itself (and its predecessor/preceding title).
I looked to see if she’d come back. When I saw she didn’t it was an easy choice to keep her. I feel like her presence gives a cool dynamic to the main menu that would otherwise be boring.
So, if you don't let her go, she will say you again again and again that she wants to be free?

But what if you make a completely new story, or delete then reinstall the game? Now that's a video idea.
I have played through Detroit Become Human like 20 times, and the last couple times Chloe hasn't asked if we were friends or to be freed.

Every time I start a new game, me and my mom choose a name for her. It’s just a little bonding moment me and my mom have.
Oh well... When we see they act ,talk,interact . I just realize i control them from my console...lol. I feel like i puppet them.

until you restart the game. Then, its not a problem. Within the context of the game, its just a machine.

That is just depressing goodness I never thought a game to make me this emotional, like the way she looked when you said no and she said that she would restart herself and it would be like she never met you. It just hurt I teared up I felt horrible just watching her face just fill up with sadness.

I have to wonder if she ever comes back after you let her go, like if you finish all story lines or something? I feel like theres something more to her. At one point she says what model number she is, makes it seem like there's a reason for her to make that known. This game is so in depth, it's hard to tell where it actually ends.
[[UPDATE]] played more story with keeping her and she does go back to normal & feels for your choices again :D there is light at the end of the tunnel if you Keep Her I knew she couldn't stay mad forever xD just gotta get over that hill ._.;
