For those who read the comments here's a fun little fact - the actress who plays Chloe ( Gabrielle Hersh ) was also in Beyond Two Souls as Kirsten ( the girl at the party ).
One of my favorite quotes from her was if you stay up really late playing the game and then start it up again the next morning, sometimes she'll ask if you got enough sleep

That's probably what it should have been in the first place... this isn't really a game, and I'm getting very tired of these quicktime-event-driven cutscene-montages being called a "game." Don't get me wrong, Detroit Become Human's story (or to be exact, stories) is/are phenomenal... but the mechanics are heckin' terrible. There's a reason mechanics like this existed back in CDI game days; it was really their only option to create higher graphics on a glorified DVD... and the mechanics were still obnoxious then. There is zero excuse for it now.
To be honest, I was hoping Chloe would just visit us from time time as a friend. Let us know how she’s doing now that she’s free. Every time you start the game you’ll wonder Chloe or no Chloe.
But that is the point - you decide to set her free, you won't see her again :) I think it's brilliant that you will pay the price for letting her go. This way you need to make a decision that will affect you in real world - by removing something from your game :) After everything this game puts you through in the game universe it is actually taking things to a whole new level and brings one final "flow chart" to your real life, where it will be permanent. That's the brilliant thing in it :)

I let my sister play the game for a bit, and when Chloe asked if she was my friend my sister said no. I was like “NO YOU’RE GONNA HURT HER FEELINGS!” and she looked at me like “wtf”. @@fml4751 I don't think that this game should get a sequel. It will unnecessarily ruin the franchise. Detroit Become Human is itself a complete game. What they can do is make another IP with amazing story, interactive gameplay and yeah, with an interactive main menu . Seriously, I personally like Chloe and Connor.

I immediately set her free the first play-through but I regret it ONLY because I missed many dialogues from her with my other play-throughs. I got another one, and I'm finally seeing what I missed. I'm so thankful to Quantic Dream for giving us that option. Plus I really like Chloe, and missed having her talk to me. I don't want others to miss out! *If any main characters die, or something very dramatic happens after the chapter is over and saves, PAUSE THE GAME, GO TO THE MAIN MENU!* As much as possible. Don't miss these! It's pretty amazing--the things she'll say to the player, breaking the 4th wall. I was blown away about how real she felt. Her dialogue to me as a player had the biggest impact on me more than the choices I made, because she'd react to them and speak directly to me, and it really had an emotional impact on me, mainly because her acting was phenomenal.
I've been using an external drive for my game data and when I started up my PS4 last time, the system said it wasn't disconnected properly and it had to repair files in order to avoid corruption. Everything seemed OK, until I started the game and Chloe said "it looks like your save file has been corrupted". I started freaking out, but then she laughed, "just kidding!". I can't believe they did that. I wanted to die. 😂

Chloe tricked me too I was really worried I would have to do it all again from the beginning of the game haha. She also tested my controller suddenly, to see if it was working properly which was cool and freaked me out at the same time 😂

Such a creepy thing happened, I recently renovated and decorated my room and then i booted the game up and one of the first things she said was "I like your interior designing" or however she says it.
One time my data was corrupted, a few days later she was like: I'm sorry to tell you that your data has been corrupted. Me: how?! Ahhhh shit! Not again. She: Just joking, fam. *sighs*

Barely? they don't exist, period. The developers sure wanted this game to not feel lazy. Like every FUCKING choice really has consequences. You fuck up quick times events, boom, your characters gone from the game forever. You can play this game, from the beginning to the end 4 times and still have something new to see/hear in the next run.
U know, since I got my new Chloe, my new one hasn't talked to me even once. Like, all she says is "accessing the extras section" and stuff like that. I liked my old Chloe better who would always say stuff like "oops... I think your game is corrupted... Just kidding!" 😭 I miss u Chloe 1.0!!
Yeah. I too am glad that they essentially patched out the consequences of a clever bit of game design, where the themes of the story were pushed into the meta and we had to think about our own comfort vs principles.

Since the story is taking place in Detroit and Negro Spirituals are now sung in universities and high schools regardless of race, it may not have seemed like much of an Easter Egg. It's completely understandable that not everyone would be familiar with it, though it is a popular one that has been arranged by multiple prolific African American composers. She made a joke that shocked me once, when I started the game at one day she told me "oh I'm really sorry, ur save file is corrupted and this can happen sometimes!!!! then she laughed and said I was joking!!" I love Chloe!
It would be awesome if when you opened the game Chloe appeared and started to say: "I would want to know more about you, what you like... I know, wait a second", then she reads your game file and if you had another game from Quantic Dram she would say "I see that you like Heavy Rain/ Looks like you've been playing Beyond: Two Souls" since they are Quantic Dream's available for PS4 as well. This would be incredible!!!
Agreed she has read my time. It was a Saturday morning I booted up the game and Chloe said "A great way to start your weekend with DETROIT" or something along those lines it was surprising.
You can get her back. In the new update, It says an offer from cyber life it isn't the same Chloe It's just the same model who doesn't have the same memory. Other Chloe is still out there.
It pains me whenever I have the option to let her go... I always keep her because I love her small talk whenever I finish a session, I know they say "If you love them, let them go" but I don't wanna ;_;

After watching this, part of me wants Chloe to have more screen time and involvement in the game’s storyline; not just the menu screen... Even if it’s just a short secret extension in the Kamski chapter *_HEAR ME OUT_* Like, what if, when Connor spares Chloe, your relationship meter goes up for Chloe, indicating that shes warming up to you. (Blue arrow up) And what if, although Kamski told you that you wont get any answers, you decide to ask a question anyway. Obviously Kamski would not give you any answer, but if you asked anyway, Chloe might be able to help you! (I mean she surely knows ALOT since shes the first android to pass the turing test, and it’s a plus that she gets to live under Kamski’s wing!) • • • *_HERE WE GO_* If you ask about the Jericho location but Kamski denies because you didn’t shoot, he would ask Chloe to escort you out. In the waiting area, Chloe then interacts with you She thanks you for sparing her, then you have the choice to respond Sincerely, Analytically etc, which would again affect your relationship meter with her. *If you’ve warmed up to her* she would stop you from leaving, and offer to help. _(This would only happen if you specifically asked about Jericho)_ Hank and Connor stand in shock, and Hank questions her if she’s defying her master’s orders. *_Connor can then “Question” her potential deviancy or “Stay silent” and listen to her._* • • • If you choose *“Question”* , she would apologize, suggest resetting herself, respects your decision, and wishes you good luck on your mission. She then walks back into the room and you leave with no answers. (Chloe: Red arrow down,stating “Neutral”) (Software instability goes down) • • • If you *“stay silent”* and listen to her, she would admit defying orders, but she assures hank and connor that she’s not a deviant, and that it’s in her program to assist anyone to the best of her ability. He either takes a gun out and shoots Chloe/ takes out a remote control and deactivates Chloe/ or he just literally recites a voice activated command that deactivates Chloe. Hank would then aim his gun at Kamski. Kamski comments about actions and consequences, mostly targeting Connor. He then reassures that he won’t do you any harm, nor would he turn you in. His reason? He wants to see the end result. Before Hank or Connor could speak, Kamski sternly warns the two of them to leave, while they still can. While the Entrance Door closes, Kamski glances over at the deactivated Chloe. He pauses, looks back at the Entrance Door, and smirks; with amusement. • • • *_BONUS:_* If the game has a GOOD ending, Chloe would make an appearance. Not sure how she would interact with Connor and the others tho... She might be a manifestation of some computer code, but that code was made by real human beings after all. Just like a character in the book. What you feel connection with is in fact human, expressed through the words, the picture, and, of course, the voice acting.
When she asked me do you want to set me free made me feel unsafe. I didn't know. This is what games should do. This is when a child leaves the house. If I say no she would be trapped and if I said yes I would never see her again. This was the first time ever In a game I didn't know what to do. Please do this more often. This will prepare us for life.

I feel it would have been More impactful if we could ask her to come back, the same one we let go, to see how she had changed, it would be nice if sometimes she wasn't there but she visited from time to time. It would have been more special.
Chloe is my second favourite android (after Connor obviously). I'd honestly feel so awful to deny her freedom because she so clearly deserves it, she's stayed with you throughout the entire experience, watching over you and your decisions. I feel extremely close to her for some reason and I want her to be free the most as she's only confined to that room we see in the main menu. Her singing is also beautiful and the fact that there's no music in the background (other than the usual menu music) makes it feel so incredibly lonely and sad, proving that she just wants to be with the others.
I remember sitting down to play recently while very sad (going thru cancer atm) and she said that “I hope you’re doing alright”, really needed that, began tearing up x’)
The only problem is... All my friends that I have contact with know what this is and play the game since we played and completed the entire game In 2 days
Wouldn't it be scary if it was someone from Cyberlife she was looking at. She says "I'm sorry I didn't see you there it won't happen again" to someone off screen and then says hello to you (the player) What if they were trying to "make her stay in line" and not become Deviant

Chloe is my second favourite android (after Connor obviously). I'd honestly feel so awful to deny her freedom because she so clearly deserves it, she's stayed with you throughout the entire experience, watching over you and your decisions. I feel extremely close to her for some reason and I want her to be free the most as she's only confined to that room we see in the main menu. Her singing is also beautiful and the fact that there's no music in the background (other than the usual menu music) makes it feel so incredibly lonely and sad, proving that she just wants to be with the others.
I remember sitting down to play recently while very sad (going thru cancer atm) and she said that “I hope you’re doing alright”, really needed that, began tearing up x’)
