Marginal improvements these TV's bring won't really do much... The bigger problem is there isn't enough high quality content to take advantage of 4k TV's we already have.. Finding good 4k content is hard and finding good 4k HDR even harder still..
This is also why 8k Tv's even tho they looks fantastic never really took off..

Definitely not true, it’s not 2012 anymore. Netflix, Disney, Max, RUclips and Apple TV + all support 4k and most Dolby vision/HDR.

CES is not what it used to be ~ virtual meetings saves millions. Last years visit was only 40,000 thousand visitors the rest were virtual. End of an era……

I have a 15 year old LCD TV from Sony and working just fine.
If you have netflix then it makes sense to get the latest tv.
I use just the basic "free" channels to watch the news.

Yesteryear: Bad T.V.s, but great programs to watch.
Today: Great T.V.s with not so great things to watch.

@@AndrasMihalyithat guy phrased it wrongly. obviously there are sales. my question... is these sales stats on the new flagships for that year (ie the new introduced tech) or includes lower spec models where it was flagship tech years ago ?
