Hello from Nigeria. You're simply the best reviewer in the world.
I seriously have to watch every videos Caleb makes. He is so precise and makes shopping for a tv so easy. I trust everything he says. Another awesome year and can’t wait for the next years tvs to come out for you to review.
It's a great channel
how often do you replace your tv ? I would assume once you chose one recommended by Caleb that you would no longer need a tv for quite a few years ?
You are such a great communicator and I just love the content. Thank you
Just on time! Great video and content Caleb!
Thanks for info and for this videos wich you made! I learn a lot from you! Thank you👏🙏
Thanks for another great year of work Caleb! You really make geeking out over A/V tech entertaining... Looking forward to seeing you in 2024! I guess for everyone else, you have to ask yourself: "What makes a TV the best?" you have got to factor in everything. No doubt LG, Samsung and Sony make great products and share technology amongst themselves. I really feel like Sony puts it all together the best. The sound puts Sony over the top for me. A95K is my weapon of choice 😂
Got the A95L on your recommendation. It's absolutely stunning and insanely bright. I'm rewatching older content as it seems to do magic to them. I'm truly impressed..
I'm really hesitating with the X95L. You got an HDMI splitter I assume?

I bought a G3 77" two months ago (got lucky with a price match) and very happy with it. WOW it looks great. I have it mounted using the built in bracket which looks AMAZING! I wish it was the 83", but wanted the brighter MLA panel. The only thing that I think is ridiculous, for a top tier OLED the remote is fine, I got used to it and now like the feel, but, it should light up. My bedroom TV Sony A90L remote lights up, (best TV remote on the planet) the G3 should light up the same way, by movement.
For comparison, my LG ArtCool A/C has backlit keys on the remote that is motion activated...
Hi there Caleb, thanks for making these videos. Helped clarify a lot of doubts regarding which TV to get. I ended up getting the A80L 77" from Best Buy and absolutely love the picture quality of any content I watch these days - including really old anime which looks terrible on my MacBook Air. Sonys image processing is definitely next level and meets all my needs. Now I am in the market for a home theater system, just saw your video of Nakamichi Dragon vs Sono Arc. Most likely going for the Arc set up as you recommended! Thanks again!
Great list, Caleb! I'm looking forward to that Sony A95L vs. other OLEDs video. Also, this video just showed why I'm buying a Sony BRAVIA TV soon: The XR Processor.
But the price of A95 is ridiculous expensive
Got myself a Sony a90j OLED, oldie but goodie, my first oled. 65" for 1.5k
Any reason you didn't get the Samsung S90C or LG C3 65 inch models. Only 100-200 more
@@sameerkhatri588 I don't like neither tizen nor webOS, android/Google TV is the best for my use... Also I don't game that much so I don't need all those gaming features...
From where did you buy?
@@stuartyoung1065 Walmart
Same here
I have an A80J and it is without a doubt an incredible, incredibly TV. Aside from the obvious OLED goodness, I cannot overstate how good Sony's upscaling is, you can still buy/watch 1080p content and it's nearly just as stunning as native 4k content.
Sony XR clear is overrated and over priced
@@XxItzkenExXSo what’s the alternative Amigo?
Ty for sharing
@@eddieshell get an LG g3.
Haven't purchased a tv since 2007 and that thing died long ago. Been binging the channel and can safely say you've helped me pick my tv.
Appreciate the efforts and for calling out all imp points
A great video as we start to wrap up the year.
Thanks for all the great reviews - cutting to the chase and giving really useful insights! Love the channel!
Thanks so much for OLED description. I reconfirmed I will stick with that for basement movie room as G2 owner.
I have 2 X Frame Tvs and people often think they will be poor but still a QLED TV so looks great for the price and design!
Thank you so much for the video Caleb, I've been watching your content for a while & I really appreciate the work you put into them & all the details you cover!! I do have one question, do you have any recommendations for a tv to use as a productivity & video editing monitor??
Excellent compilation of the best TVs this year! So thoughtful, thorough, and yet fun! Great job! Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving, if you are looking at comments!!🥰🎉❤️
Just picked up the C3 it looks awesome🔥
Loved this video ! Thank you, Caleb 👌
Amazing, thank you! Just ordered the Samsung QN90D
You make great videos and helped me decide on getting the 77" S90C. I would however like it if you ditched the static logo at the bottom of your videos, I don't want to risk burn in on the new TV. Lol.
This video was amazingly helpful and had perfect timing! I'm looking for strictly 55" TVs and couldn't find the Sony X95L in that size. Do you have 55 inch recommendations for premium Sony TVs? It won't be used for gaming, but it is going to sit in a very bright room so I'm looking for QLEDs. Thanks!!!
I picked up a 65" C2 at the beginning of the year and I could not be happier.
You encouraged me to qd-oled ; thank you Caleb .
Got the A95L in October 2023. It's been around 2 months, I've never seen anything so stunning
I bought the A95L about a month ago and it's the best TV I've ever owned. Paired it with the HT-A7000 surround system and it's bonkers.
My A95K is still holding on strong…got it day one of last year!👍🏾
Thanks for all of these suggestions. I have had the OLED B7 from LG that came out in 2017. Just sold that TV and am again in the market for a new TV since I am moving. I feel like, for the price, that LG OLED C3 65in might be the best bang for the buck.
Thanks for some great reviews & info over the year.
I presently have a Sony 55”A1 4K OLED TV bought in 2016 and I am thinking about getting around to updating it to a 65” A95L. But your Japan report gave me pause for thought as to whether I should hold off for a year or so for whatever Sony “has in the works” (to quote you). The A1 is still a very nice piece of tech, but due to the poor reception in overbuilt downtown Melbourne, I mainly use it with my (newest version) 4K Apple TV device. So it’s not like I have to move urgently. Whatever I do get will mainly be used for streaming as free to air reception here is not going to improve in the foreseeable future and high speed optical cable is available.
So what do you advise? Make the jump to the A95L now or hang back to wait and see what’s in the pipeline?
Cheers Jim
New here been looking for the past hour on good honest reviews of qled vs oled. I have a well lit room and thought I was just doomed to get a subpar tv. Your video has given me hope. Cheers 🎉
Great info. 🙂
If I was buying today, I would choose the Sony X90L. My current TV is an LG E8 OLED from 2018, and a best friend of mine has the Sony X900, which is the predecessor to the X90. Honestly, I like the X900 just as much or more than the E8. So, based on my limited sample set, the X90L is a really great choice as far as an excellent looking TV for a decent price to size.
Great Video thanks!
I’m still rocking my LG GX and I’ve loved it for 3 years!
I continue to enjoy your daily reports.

Have a S90C coming this Friday, can't wait!
We were looking for a new gaming 65" TV and watched u. Can't thank u enough went with the Sony 80l which is awesome love it thank u again ❤
This is a great recommendation. If you basically open your tv from morning to night, watching news, play games, watch movies, and simply leave it on for background noise, qleds are a good choice. And the recent ones are so good, you only miss out on the infinite contrast which is not a big deal to most.
hey digital thanks for info, great chanel
I got the g3 and upgrated my c2. Wow huge difference and I just cant get over how good it looks. The only knock is the remote. For this much money the remote should be alot nicer.
Just attach an apple tv 4k to it you will love it mine g2 started lagging after 8 months so i got one.
I like watching your show I upgraded from a 2016 Vizio 55 in to the Samsung S9oc and yeah it was a big change
I cringed when I saw the title of this video this morning because I ordered my tv yesterday. But it was like you were talking about me because my tv is 14 years old and I bought the Sony X90L 65 inch based off your recommendation on the last video I watched of yours. I can’t wait to hook it up next week.
Great vid and great info. Not going to lie though I did a double-take during Samsung frame segment when I heard greet at “bucking glare” though 😭🤣
Went with 75” Samsung QN90B. So bright!!!
Saving up (a lot) for the Sony A95L. The processing plus the Google TV implantation plots them over and above the others on this list.
TCL and Hisense have Google TV ...
I did order 77” Philips 908 because of ambilight and cheaper than G3 price and a tabletop stand!
Using same mla panel and looking reviews it is close enough G3 and Panasonic that it did make sense. Mostly for european customers though. And when best/most deep reviews were in France and Germany… i was really happy that automatic translators are really good now a days!
😂
Was it worth it?
This was probably the most understandable and well stated videos I have watched in a long time. Cudo’s and thank you!
I just purchased a Samsung 77” s90c for my basement. I’m coming from a Lg 65” C9, which still amazes me.
Thanks for another great video! Would it be possible to compare the TCL and Hisense TVs with their corresponding (if any) European models? There's a lot of confusion there. For instance, TCL doesn't distribute the QM8 model in the European market and Hisense does have European TVs with model codes U7K and U8K but they seem to be different from the US versions.
❤ Love your reviews!
Can you also let us know about the tv stands . I am planning to get a new tv stand and a combination
Needed this video before I made a big purchase for my home 🙌🏾
Recently got s90c 77. Great tv!!
Just purchased my first OLED last night, 77” C3
Picked up a 75' Sony X90L and love it. I could have spent much more but for my gaming needs and sports watching it seems to be great! 4k content looks incredible! I simply cannot believe it.
Hi I'm trying to buy a new TV, my old on screen is damaged. How much was the TV you bought?
@@Lexi_USA6090 2000$ cad (took two seconds to look up on google lol)
Hello Caleb , thanks for great content !!I am new to this space and this is my first post .I have a question please : For S90C and S95C : as per reviews online ,low quality content handling is not great. Does this mean anything not 4K / high resolution won’t look good? My family streams lot of RUclips and other streaming which may not be best quality . Should this be deal breaker for S90C and S95C ? ( G3 or A95L would be better choice?) Thanks .
Thanks for sharing I think I will purchase the SonyA95L.🥰
Just bought a Sony 65” A90J OLED for Black Friday, and it is amazing 🔥🔥 Got it from Walmart for a crazy price! 🤯
I just got the 908 oled Unbeliavable tv,, greetings from Athens Greece.❤
Thank you!
Which is batter LG C3 or Samsung S90C?
I got me the 65 LG-G3 and is amazing
Got my first real serious tv this year with the Sony A80K and it’s simply mind blowing. Never thought the impact of a proper tv would have on the living room, including movie watching and gaming wise, simply incredible. Would be the main tv in the house for the next three years at the very least.
I miss my a80k with Sony sound system setup 😢 I’m deployed rn but when I get back I have a lot of movies and games I wanna play on it. Especially spider man 2. Next year can’t come soon enough
@@mrcarter121793 SM2 looks insane on it! You will have the time of your life man! Stay safe

I couldn't pass up the S90C 77" AAA discounted $2000 deal (plus free 2 year warranty, $350 value, plus various cashback). Swapped my 85 QN90A in my bedroom for it. Such an insane value for any 77" oled nevertheless a gen 2 samsung QDOLED panel.
Can you please include A80L vs A95L???🙏🏿🙏🏿
I got the qn90c and i think it's great.
It can go so bright that it hurts my eyes to look at it.
I’m in the uk got the lg g3 65 inch for £2299 I love it
What ever tv you buy just enjoy it and don’t worry about the other tvs out there.
well said.
Got myself the Sony A75L for $1500
My first OLED I'm loving it no regrets. Upgrade from an older LED Sony TV
Thank you for talking about the burning screens with OLED because it is a pain in the asssssss
*I am in love with my TCL Q7 I just got. at 55inch , it blows away the U8K , which had horrible veiwing angle with washed out sided even when directly in front of it, and horrible VRR bugs/crashes.*
I got a sony a80k since April and i love it
55” Samsung Neo QLED QN95A , got it for my ps5 over an OLED and happy with the image quality, no burn in risk! $1500on sale in 2022.
I love the Sony A95L, but it maxed out at 77”. I needed an 83”+ so I got the LG G3 instead.
I got the Sony a75L coming this Monday, 200 less dollars then the a80L which has the same panel, it’s just missing the onboard microphone on the tv itself, the remote still has one, and a third speaker in the center of the tv, that’s it, it just came out a month a go and has really gone under the radar, even better value than than the c3 with superior upscaling technology
I just got the 55 A80L and am loving it! You are right, the A75L has just a couple of minor differences. The picture and processing are the same! You bought a great TV!
OH, man! I turn on CNBC when I wake up in the morning and it's on my tv until after the stock market closes with the tickers running across the bottom the entire time. I was going to buy an OLED now I don't know what to get now. THANK YOU FOR THAT INFO!
What a well made video. Great work
I have a key question. Which TV now has the most convenient controls for aspect ratio changes on the fly? Samsung used to have a button on the remote but now the adjustments are buried down three levels of the menu. So which model is designed understanding the need to adjust aspect ratio a lot when you watch a variety of programs old and new?
I’m looking for 75 inch. Either qm8 or u8k. However hisense is ADS IPS. Would qm8 be better since it’s a va?
Thats a LOT of choices. As in most things, comes down to how much you want to spend but is nice to see the different options available. Probably the Sony A80L for me, but that Samsung Frame TV is cool though.
I just bought a QN90C. Having problems with tv volume fluctuations on its own . Any suggestions on how to eliminate that problem ?
Had bought a 65” A80L for 1699 Black Friday took it back and got a 55” A95l 2499 I needed that extra brightness & the quality difference were Noticeable to me
Just got a 77” C3 and watch in a darker room and mostly at night. Good lord I couldn’t imagine needing something brighter. Absolutely gorgeous TV.
Lol at good lord
Hi. I’m planning on buying an OLED (LG G2 97”), and wanted some advice.
We use the TV for 8-10 hours a day, with multiple people in the house. Channels with the fixed info bars like CNN and ESPN are watched very very little though. What is watched is a combination of cable channels with a fixed channel logo and streaming services without any logo. Would OLED be fine for this usage?
Hi Please can you let me know your opinion on how reliable the Hisense range of tv's are ,as looking at reviews on Amazon lots of people who have purchased are reporting problems with the Hisense tv such as u7k which i was hoping to purchase after seeing your review,
Looking at a new TV over 82" for our media room, id go projector but its already wired for a TV with a wall mount, any ones that really stand out? Thanks!
Currently still using the 900E but I want the A95L in a few years.
Loving my 77in S90C I picked up a few days ago. I really wanted the Sony with XR Clear but for double the cost of the S90C, not worth it.
Already bought 65U6K (regret not buying the U7K) for basement.
77A95L for living room. Still need a bedroom TV and thinking of the 65 QM8 since I have a Hisense Already
I went with the TCL QM8. I thought the picture looked slightly better than the Hisence U8 as both were on full display. When I was walking into the store, they were loading a 75' U8 into the back of a pickup so these two models are very hot sellers it seems. Thanks for a great informative review!
How is the quality control?
Thats funny...at Best Buy I thought the U8K looked noticably better than the QM8
I love this video!
Hello. I'm finally able toget a new TV after 6 years. Well I really want the U8K. Would the U7k be a good settle?.
Hello Caleb , when are you going to review the Samsung S90c?
Could you possibly do a review for the new Vizio quantum pro tvs plz would love to see one if possible 😸
So im in the market for a 55 inch TV I’m torn between two in the sub $300 range… Hisense A76K or TCL Q5… what’s your take on those and which one of the two would you recommend?
I was wondering what would be a better choice TV for a darker room, either LG C3 oled, Sony A80L oled, or Samsung S90C oled?
Thanks for all you do. Do I get the G3 or wait for the G4?
G4 is not as much improvement in brightness as the G3 was, better processing but probably still inferior to Sony, plus the G4 LOSES ATSC 3.0 down to ATSC 1.0 if you care about over the air 4k
This year I bought a 65 in LG CS which was amazing value at €1200. I also bought a Samsung S95B for €2000. The Samsung QDOLED is a big upgrade to traditional oled, but the Tizen UI is so laggy that it really takes from the tv. Picture quality is fantastic, but Samsung really need to fix Tizen.
Great video
Not sure if you'll make a recommendation, but I'm looking for an 85" tv, great picture to watch sports, movies, good off-angle viewing, and streaming services, but would like to spend under $3000, closer to $2000 if possible. Wall mount, and with reachable hdmi cables when hung. Also, does it make sense to get a roku stick for streaming services? I'd like access to all services on the tv if possible. TY!
I've bought A80l around 2 months ago and I really love it. If you like me can't afford A95l then I recommend considering it.
What is the difference between both?
@@sulli7385 A95l was Sony’s flagship tv for 2023 but A80l is not. Short A95l is better and more expensive
