You have done a super job there. Whatever the name on the grille, be it White, GMC, or Volvo, those Whites are way better trucks than many people realise and are often a good buy.
Not professional? More professional then a lot of professionals. End of the day it's about what YOU want. Thant said, awesome video and outcome. Truck turned out really nice and looks like you guys made it safe and roadworthy instead of getting the old girl running "enough" to move.
Landrick I love this video. You deserve 661 thousand subscribers. Bout halfway thru this one I said to my daughter, No WAY he's gonna leave this truck white! I miss these trucks so much cooler looking than the crap on the roads today. Thanks for keeping some of them alive!
Hey thanks for keeping it stock without the stupid frame rail stretches and the huge sun visors! Back in the day, a stretched wheelbase cabover was unheard of, what with many states having a 55’ overall length restriction, 45’ maximum trailers, and states from Mississippi to Illinois having a 73,280 lb weight limit.
Outstanding job, even left a little character in the body by not doing the body work before painting, alot would question that but i get it, i think this tractor is perfect as it is and will serve you well.
Great video!! Thanks for all the work and time in rebuilding this old gal. I bet she will serve you for many years to come. Great video, thanks again. retired ol ron.
My dad had one that looked alot like it,when it was all white, it had a 300 Cummins, 9 sp. Transmission, and 4: 11 rears, top end was like 61mph...he bought it new, it was a solid little money maker for him
Awesome job on this truck. Love the layout & colors of the paint. I love seeing cab overs. I grew in the 80's when they were still everywhere. My dad drove quite a few. So seeing 1 get a new lease on life tickled me to death. These companies need to bring them back. So many drivers I've talked to told me they would buy them if you could without the mark up of having an American company ship 1 of there's from another company.
Just found this channel !!! Super cool cabover !!! The white/volvo cabovers are probably one of the most rarely seen. I just recently purchased a red late 80’s conventional white. Already in the process of restoring a 78 international cabover. Great job.
Man u doing a hell of a good job with these trucks man.. looking forward to seeing more videos of ur trucks in action. Honestly i Be waiting to see ur videos 💯
HELL of a time to start "caring" for the truck now!! you can tell by the dents all around and the marker writing on it the owner didn't care in any aspect! welcome to karma!!
I've only ever seen 1 cabover Volvo/white in Western Canada, belonged to Schlumberger as a wireline truck. These were badged as Western Star in Australia, seen a couple down there. 🚛👍⭐
Maybe,as a suggestion, you could talk to Bruce Canepa and ask him for some advice He and the people that work for him re-design vehicles, including trucks
It's clean enough to drive to the prom!
Looks like it was a White Road Commander 2 before GMC / Volvo bought out White Motor Corporation. You did a fantastic job !

Love the fact that he kept 95% of the truck stock finally am impressed

What a fantastic restoration. I like your style...pure classic without the overdone visor or stupid frame frame stretch. Great work!
Amen bud.
Pure & simple! Not no stretch out long frame with the air breather looks like is telling god hello

I wouldn't say it was ugly when you found it. It was more "Plain Jane" , but you dressed it up beautifully.
Great job..had 1 like that with a 7 speed..
