Um.. not sure but kinda happened the same to me. Tho i still feel like i've forced things between us... You know, i was devastated too, and he felt bad. After hrs he told me the same, that he was afraid of thinking of me as something else than a friend, it never worked for him before, and used to get "friendzoned" too, and that he had some feelings for me and wanted to try.

I have done something well actually said it really not once not twice and all those times not meant what I said. Ask him, in no ambiguous terms, "Do you love me?"
If he says no, you have some other issues to work out.
But if he says yes, tell him he could do a better job of showing it. Give him pointers on how he can make you feel appreciated.
The important thing is to be direct though. Don't try hinting at things because he won't understand. Guys don't get hints. He'll appreciate it if you're upfront and honest about how you feel, and, if he really does love you, he'll take your advice to heart.

As a wife, i confirm this video ❤️ we are going onto 2 years of marriage, 5 years of being together. I married my best friend. When we first started dating, he wasn’t religious at all. He considered himself agnostic, but I expressed that my faith was very important to me and that I didn’t need him to commit to my beliefs but just needed him to support me with them and allow me to share them with him. When we got married he began to attend my congregation with me which I never even asked him to do and goes with me every time. He still doesn’t feel he will fully commit which is okay because i have no intention of obligating him but he has become a lot more comfortable with it and is very supportive as he said he would be ❤️ I also suffer from depression and even when I’m at my most irrational state, he is so patient and understanding.
Never settle for someone or rush into a relationship because you feel you’re running out of time. Be open about things that are important to you. Don’t be embarrassed about anything. If they truly love you, they’ll stick around for the long run. And if they leave then good because they wouldn’t be a suitable partner for you.
Remember to compromise, BOTH of you. They don’t have to like what you like, but because they love you, they’ll have fun because it’s with you ❤️ and vice versa. They will respect and support your values and beliefs even if theirs aren’t necessarily the same.
We both come from divorced parents. We had our 8 parents at our wedding 😆 we both came from homes with domestic violence and parents with addiction and mental illness. And although are parents didn’t necessarily teach us how to behave as a wife or husband, we learned what we don’t want in our marriage. So know if you came from a rough background, that doesn’t mean you won’t make a suitable wife or husband. It just means you have to put in more effort to not become the people who made your life hell during your childhood.
Never curse at or hit your partner, not even playing. Because when you guys are fighting, that stuff can come out. Have boundaries. My beliefs play an important role in my values as a wife so that is a major help as well personally. And personally, I feel it’s best to express as much as possible. I don’t think you should let the “little things go.” If something upset you that your partner did or said, speak up in a private setting and express yourself calmly and respectfully. I think it’s a mistake to let things slide because it’ll only build up little thing after little thing. And put immense effort into avoiding doing or saying things that your partner already asked you not to do because it hurt their feelings. There is no place for pride in a marriage. Always apologize (both of you) even when you don’t think you were wrong because chances are, you definitely could’ve expressed yourself more calmly or respectfully. And the old school rule, never go to bed angry or upset. Address things as soon as you guys have an opportunity to discuss it amongst yourselves.
PS to the women, don’t make men guess what you want them to do or say. They’re a man and think differently than you do. Most of the time, they will not know what you’re expecting of them when you’re upset or mad lol it’s not fair to assume they will know what you’re thinking. Express yourself clearly and considerately.
