I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. I've found my one and we've been together for over 10 years and we still love being together like when we first met. We've had rocky moments but we worked through them together and we're stronger for it. We are now working towards taking the relationship to the next level and get married.
Well, 9 out of 10 apply. The sexual attraction portion doesn't often apply to me. I've minor interest in it, however, to hold them, kiss them and snuggle them to death are extremely felt intentions. The love of my life has BPD, and last year when our relationship was growing stronger than ever she self-sabotaged her own life. Watching movies, cleaning house, babysitting, talking late into the night together... I miss those things. Saying good morning before I leave for work, going shopping, and random hugs through the day. Why did I fall in love with a person I can't have? Why did my love have to leave? Maybe it's just me in love. If the person I love falls for someone else I will let them go so they can be happy. I don't want to hold anyone back from following their dreams. So many of these I can check off for me and my boyfriend. The only few that aren’t are simply because we haven’t had the opportunity to make said compromises or interactions. (We’ve been together for 3 and a half months). Our determination and dreams for the future of our relationship is so strong, and we just adore spending time with each other (and vice versa will miss each other pretty quickly too). I used to be on the fence about marriage and also terrified of having biological kids, but now, I WANT both so much if I can have it with my current partner.
Knowing you are in the right relationship changes everything. You no longer feel that you have to go over and above to win your partner’s affections - you still put in the work to make them feel loved and valued and appreciated but you don’t have to prove it. You fall into a space where you are comfortable with one another and each other’s quirks. Finding a partner that follows through on their words is an unmistakable sign that you are in the right relationship. At the end of the day, when the right relationship finally comes along, you will just know, and you will finally realize what you don’t want in a relationship.
That’s so scary me and my boyfriend literally have all these signs and yeah we’ve had our fair share of arguments and almost breakups (never ended in a breakup🤦🏾♀️😂) but we’re never afraid to fight for each other and speak on how much we adore one another which turns into a successful conversation on how we’re going to take the steps to solve our problems that we have within the relationship. I honestly believe i found the one. Once you get to experience and express true and pure real love, you understand every bad / fake / lack of desire and friendship relationship you had was just a harsh lesson you had to go through to be stronger, mature and appreciate the good love the most. The person I'm talking to right now is almost the exact same as me with very similar taste, personality traits, mental states and anything you can think of but we differ very slightly and our main difference is being born in different places and living different but similar lives. My ex was mad at me for persuing a career short term, and never told me till we broke up. We were together for 2.5 years and I didn't feel comfotable at all doing anything physical after a few months and blamed it on me. I was more than happy to end that relationship, because of all the guilt tripping, and the extreme clinginess.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it.

Watching movies, cleaning house, babysitting, talking late into the night together... I miss those things. Saying good morning before I leave for work, going shopping, and random hugs through the day. Why did I fall in love with a person I can't have? Why did my love have to leave? My ex was mad at me for persuing a career short term, and never told me till we broke up. I finally met my 'the one' 5 years ago❤️ we had to use to many things i had many hardship during our relationship but it made our bond stronger and i can now say that i score 10/10 with him, and knowing that i am the only one that changed his mindset towards few things i belive i am his as well, even if there is a huge gap in age between us❤️
