It's blows my mind why there are so many haters for this guy. He's a very respectful & non flashy guy that never shows up anyone. But still has haters.

Before watching this video, it was incredible to witness what Shohei has done in this season so far. But looking at the numbers and the data, I can't help but thinking that he might be the ONLY one to play like this in the history of baseball. Stay healthy, Shohei. We can't wait to see more from you.

    当時、高卒ピッチャーでMLBを志願していた大谷に、戦略的プラン「二刀流」を提案して口説き落としたのが日本ハムファイターズでした。
At the time, Ohtani was a high school graduate pitcher who had applied to MLB, and it was the Nippon Ham Fighters who wooed him by proposing a strategic plan, the "two-way" approach.

Isn't it "surprising" what happens when women, other races, the poor are given opportunity? Talent; un-tapped talent. It always makes me consider how many talented people due to circumstances of birth or geography, never get to realize the gift buried inside of themselves.

Ohtani has shown glimpses of his abilities, the Bambino showed it over a long career. If Ohtani can keep this level for a decade, then we can start the Bambino comparison: But right now he is more hyped like a prime Bo Jackson.
If Ohtani got a career ending injury tomorrow, he will join/replace Bo Jackson as the greatest "what if" ever.
