YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!!! I'm a 1st year with barely 6 months in teaching 1st grade. I' started the certification process in July and was a late hire in my district and a career changer. I had zero training initially. I didn't know, what I didn't know in education (still don't). Thank you Miss May for helping me provide more quality education your explanation of procedures and how to handle constant interruptions.

I am loving the classroom management procedures series! I use music for transitions and have a procedure for EVERYTHING. That is the only way to stay sane and get things done in a day. I found an awesome app that you use as a timer and you can assign different music to each alarm and then I don't have to keep track of time. The kids learn what each song means and it keeps us on track. It's called Timeless, I believe and I ❤️ it!

Miss May, thank you so much! I am a first year teacher in 1st grade and I love the idea of the bathroom passes and transition music. I do t want to be a teacher who yells so this will certainly help. Thanks!

Awesome! I love your procedures with the crayons and pencils! I would use this system in 4K classroom coming August.
Transition songs are extremely important we have the following songs below.... I use my 4K class.
Circle Time: Let’s Start this day: Jack Hartman
Center Time: Clean up: Anthony Broughton
Personal Care: We sing Transitioning song in the hallway while others are using the restroom and getting water.
Departure: Goodbye song ( So long farewell) Out of the box✨
Love the bathroom and water procedure as well. I wish I would have known this early! Thank you so much Awesome job✨😊
    Love the vlog 🍎❤️

OMG Ms. May, Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! YOUR BATHROOM PROCEDURES WORKS!!!! After studying all your classroom management and procedures/routine videos I've stolen some, borrowed a couple, and mixed some of my own to get all the procedures in place like you said.
I've had the best first week of school after drilling "procedures" into my third graders.
Sending you and your students hope and prayers, and wishing y'all a good school year. *muah*

Learned more from this video than a whole semester of classroom and behavior management. I feel teacher preparation programs don’t give candidates enough practical advice. Thank you !

This is wonderful.. I love your enthusiasm. As a first year teacher myself I have found myself having to teach procedures later that I really should have done very early on. Thanks for sharing

I was a Director and former pre k teacher things you say and do remind me of what I use to do. Now that im pursuing law school seeing your videos makes me want to return to the learning environment. I love and appreciate your videos. I pray my daughter has multiple teachers like you although, I would be grateful if she could be a student in your class. I am praying for your classroom to continue to be a leading example of what a true learning atmosphere and being a passionate educator looks like. I will subscribe, take care.
