    Hands free, 360 degrees of core in 12 minutes!
    #handsfreeyoga #yogaforcore #yogaforabs
    Today's yoga snack we are focusing on the ENTIRE core in under 15 minutes. The core is more than just a six pack or for pretty, the core holds us up, gives us balance, holds our organs in place, stabilizes other parts of the body and brings us overall good health. A healthy core is a strong AND supple one going all the way around - front layers, side body, back layers and also includes the pelvic floor and the diaphragm. We work all of these in this short yoga flow for the core!

    I don't like core, but this words handfree trucked me in... This is very effective and better to begin in short version, because being sore after a long version I'll never do it again 😂 thanks so much Aprille

      Short bursts of core are really great ways to build overall core strength and health quickly and effectively while not being too much (I too don't really like core but I am definitely there for short classes of it)! Thank you so much for joining me today and I appreciate your taking a moment to comment. Wishing you a wonderful day! Peace, Aprille

      I am right there with you! I remember hearing the word "core" and mentally rolling my eyes every time. Now thought - I really get why I needed to do it and I do it almost EVERY day! Thanks for joining me Jamie and have a great day! Peace, Aprille

    You know I love a good core practice - especially one that is hands free and focuses on the ENTIRE core! Side body, front 3 layers, lower back - all covered here in under 15 minutes! Enjoy! (oh, and no pulsing poses either 😅) Namaste, Aprille

    Wow 😯 how haven’t I seen this before now?!
    I’ve had to restrict my practice over the last few months for investigation into hip/back/pelvic issues and my core suffered because of this.
    Today in just 10 mins it shouted “hello - I’m back”
    Fabulous bite size easy to slot into any practice.

    Love all your core workouts, thank you so much. Could you please do bat wing arms, such a hard area to make slender and strong. Have a great day.

    Oh boy, I HATE that 4 letter word, as you described - the core! I saw you have a 40+ minute one and I promise I’ll work up to it. But probably what you hate is what you need, as you have said in nicer words! Great class Aprille dearest. You are the best. Lucy - or even Sherlock or Patrick- would have made it easier - I think;)

    • @YogaRangerStudio

      +Denise, I know....that word is so loaded! This little one is actually a bit harder than my 45 minute practice because of time constraints...or at least I feel it is. The 45 minute one is a very mindful, slow paced, focused class that works you without your really knowing it! Don’t worry, Lucy is back this Friday in a nice full length Yin practice! 😻💗🌈. Namaste, Aprille

    Thank You 🙏🏼 I suffer from migraines, my shoulders and neck muscles gets inflamed , and strugle with being able to strengheten the core withouth arousing the neck, shoulders and head to much. Any good advice?

    • @YogaRangerStudio
      @YogaRangerStudio  3 года назад

      Floor bound poses in which you rest your head and neck on the floor (you can use a rolled towel for your neck support) and dip feet, legs, toes are great. I tend to rarely teach lifting the head and neck for core work as I find it quite painful later in my own neck. Take your hands to your side body and notice the side waist and how it's working. Take hands to core and notice. I have several core classes and I don't think many of them include neck/head lifting as part. Thanks for joining me - Peace, Aprille
