- Depeche Mode have managed to stay in a single time zone this past week, playing a sweaty, raucous two-hour show to the black swarm on the Rhine in Düsseldorf this past Wednesday, and prepping to do it all again tonight. We sat down with Martin Gore to find out about revisiting the sounds of melancholy past and how technology has changed not only Depeche Mode's music but also their live show.

I feel he was definitely underrated when it comes to synths,.. Vince Clarke and others like him normally get lots of accolades but the industry seemed to frequently look over Martin who was very skilled and innovative in his craft.

Every 'depesz' from Poland LOVES DM (30 years!!!), and you as the music writer and singer and Dave as the frontman and all the talented man who made your videos... Love your concerts! Always, always; 30 years! I got 101 when I was 14 (still in Communism, and my elder/only brother pull out all stops to get it sent from Warsaw on a video cassette)... over 40 these days. LOVE DM and the artists individually. I have every album, and, forgive bootleg as well
